Five Nights In Wonderland

FNIW Chapter 5 Part 1 - since 1987

Flying was easier now. The wound on his back was starting to heal, and it only sended small shocks of pain through his body when he flapped his wings. It didn't borther him, so he didn't worry about it.

It was liberating, just to fly in the air and letting the wind play with his hair, clothing and feathers. It was a good feeling.

Rethea roared quietly to him, nudged his cheek, which made the fallen angel giggle. The dragon softly started purring, when Nitram stroke his fur.

"I didn't know you could purr," Nitram said, smiled to the little dragon. "It sounds cute,".

Rethea replied to him with nudging his cheek again. The dragon looked after where they was flying, also looked like he been up in the sky again.

A sudden scream from an animal ripped the air. Nitram stopped up, looked around for where that sound came from. The scream came again, and the fallen angel looked up, only to let out a yelp and flew sharp to the right.

An eagle just missed him, was a few centimeters from cutting his arm. The eagle turned sharply towards him again, screaming its scream.

"Why is it attacking me?!" Nitram yelled, dodging the sharp claws once again. He dived down the eagle followed him close behind. He turned sharply to the right, just saw why it was attacking.

A nest was in a tree, he just passed by. A few small eagles was screaming to each other.

"An eagle nest! Just great!" Nitram said irritaded, flew up towards the sky. But if there only was one here... it means the other one is just near...

He suddenly letted out a scream of pain, when claws digged into his left arm, a scream from the eagle made Nitram want to cover his ears, but couldn't since he had an angry eagle stabbing his arm! He slapped the eagle with his hand, but the bird didn't let go. Instead it snapped after Rethea, there slapped the bird in the face with his claws.

Rethea roared, and jumped off Nitram, pushed the bird so both him and the bird fell off Nitram. But Nitram letted out a extra high scream, when the claws ripped his skin apart where the claws had been. The dragon and the bird fell down towards the ground, Rethea bit the eagles neck and a loud snap came. The eagle was limp while they fell down.

Nitram dived down, grabbed the little dragon before it hitted the ground. He turned to the other eagle, there was coming towards them.

Rethea jumped out of the fallen angel's arms, and bit the eagle's neck and broke the bone. Nitram quickly grabbed the dragon and the 2 eagles landed on the ground.

They saw a few foxes coming out from the park, running towards the dead eagles and started ripping the bird apart to get to the meat.

Nitram turned to the nest of small eagles. "What about them?" he asked himself, flew over to the tree and looked down at the eagles. "I can't leave them. They will die of hunger...,".

"Hey, you up there!" a voice suddenly yelled, Nitram turned around only to get blinded by a sharp light. He covered his eyes so he could at least see something. "Will you please come down from there?!".
