Chapter 10
I woke up cold, and my ears filled with the sound of someone or
something barking. Bleary eyed, I searched for the source and found a
blue eyed fox standing beside the bed, jumping and barking. I smiled,
wondering what Will was up to. Seeing me up, he stopped jumping and
looked at me, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and cocking his
head to the side. Groaning, I buried my face in the pillow beside me.
"Will, it's too early for this crap," I groaned. Aware that my
calves ached and my hips felt stiff. There was no way I was running
or working out today.
I heard a high pitched yip and then he was on my back, nipping at my

blankets off of me. "You don't have to be an ass about it," I
griped, rolling out of bed. I walked over to his bathroom, putting my
hair back up and coming out to find him in fox form again. As soon as
he saw me, he started barking again. I raised a brow in silent
question and he just hopped up and down, his onslaught of noise
getting louder if that's possible. Desperate, I closed my eyes and
thought of my own fox form. The familiar feeling of everything
popping into place let me know it worked. I looked down at my black
paws, and up to Will, who was much larger than me, and silent. Come
to think of it, he looked bigger than the last time I'd seen him like
this.
He just turned, his tail standing straight up, nose tipped up
