Y/N was now alone in the room after everyone left her to wonder what she was waiting for.

Soon the pencil lady poked her head in the doorway

"We've finally gotten rid of the other children, Y/N. Had to give them consolation doughnuts and hugs and whatnot. Only a few more minutes now to wait."

Y/N cleared her throat trying to get the pencil ladies' attention.

The pencil lady turned around

"hmm"

"This isn't a test for an advanced school is it?"

The pencil lady looked perplexed

"Now how in the world have you come to that conclusion"

"I just put it together" Y/N shrugged

The pencil lady stood frozen in thought then left the room

After a few minutes, she heard footsteps in the hall

A boy opened the door he was very ordinary looking with brown hair and weird clothes.

"Is this where I'm supposed to wait?"

"I would assume so"

The boys seemed to not know sign language so she just nodded her head.

Soon after this boy sat down at the table in front of her another boy with glasses came into the room asking if this is where he was supposed to be.

She nodded and the ordinary-looking boy said

"I guess so but I don't speak sign language so I can't understand what this girl is saying. You don't happen to know it?"

The boy with glasses looked at the girl

"I understand sign language, I can translate."

"This is where I was told to wait, so I would assume the same for you two."

The boy with glasses thought for a moment then told the ordinary-looking boy what she said.

"Oh well my name is Reynard Muldoon but you can call me Reynie." said the ordinary-looking boy

"My name is Sticky Washington," said the boy with glasses

"And my name is Y/N ... just Y/N"

"You don't have a last name?" questioned Sticky

"No, I never knew my parent's last name so therefore I don't have one" she signed with a look saying she didn't want to talk about it.

Neither one of the boys questioned her any further.

The boys began having a conversation with themselves as Y/N looked out the window and assessed an escape route in case things got bad. She had figured out that these tests were not for an advanced school but she couldn't figure out what they actually were for.

This thought made her nervous. She hated not knowing the truth.

Then all of a sudden a girl with short brown hair and a beanie came bursting through the door. Causing all of them to jump and Sticky to yell "What's the matter?"

"What's the matter with you?" she said calmly

"What are you running from?"

"From? I wasn't running from anything. I was running to this room. Old yellow suit told me to come down here and wait with you three, so here I am. My name's Kate Wetherall."
