# The bill

"Whaaaaaaat?" Era shouts.

"Didn't you hear me? Okay, I will say it again because it's such happy news. Logan got suspended....for 7 days." Henry says.

"Why would he get suspended?! You are the one who bullied him!"

"My nose was bleeding, remember?"

"You must have provoked him! And who knows, maybe you broke your nose by yourself and now accusing Logan. Since Logan can't say anything, he got suspended!"

"Gosh, you have such an imaginary brain."

"Thanks- but-"

Era gets cut off as the teacher's room door opens and Logan steps out.

He was leaving but Era holds his wrist, "Where are you going? Logan talk to me!"

Logan says nothing. He frees his hand and leaves, not even looking at Era once.

Era doesn't pressure him anymore, She lets him go.

Henry laughs, "Huh! He just ignored you."

"Do I look like I am in the mood for joking right now?!" Era shouts so loudly that Henry flinches.

"Keep it low Era. We are in front of a teacher's room," he whispers, "Let's get out of here."

Era starts walking on her own towards the school gate to leave the school, leaving henry behind.

"Hey wait up!" Henry catches up to her, "but seriously why did you let Logan go?"

"What type of question is this? Because he wasn't looking like wanting to talk right now. I didn't want to bother him. He needed some time alone anyway."

"You......are weird," Henry says.

"what? Why?"

"Isn't Logan your friend? Shouldn't you force him to cheer up? At times like this, you should hug him but instead, you let go. Why did you stay then? What's the point?" he scoffs.

Guilt rushes through her mind through his words. But again....who is he to tell her these? He is in no position to advise him. 

"Shut up," Era snaps, "Stop acting like you know everything or you care about him. Why didn't you hug him then?! You could've just apologized if you knew that much."

"When he was the one who broke my nose? Ridiculous!"

"If you didn't bully him in the first place then it wouldn't happen!"

"Gosh, you are unbelievable."

"You don't get to advise me. I will do what I think is better." with that she leaves.

Henry looks at her in disbelief, She is worse than I thought.

An Era comes home, exhausted. She throws her bag on her bed and sits there. Agh damnit! That bastard's words are making me feel guilty.

She remembers how Logan was asking for convincing words from Era when he told her about Ray's incident but joked it off.

Ah~ I am the worst. she lays down.

Suddenly she hears a notification sound. She checks out the message. It was from Zara.

Hey
Did you meet Logan?

yeah, I did. But he didn't talk to me.
so I left him.
I mean he left me.

ah, he must be very sad. Should we check up on him?

I think you should call him and talk.
