So by the title you might be thinking 'ohhh a new poem'. No.
Can I do a rant chapter? I think yes. Cause this is my work, afterall.
So here it is... An organized rant of things I absolutly cannot stand. Hope you like :)
1. SLOW WALKING IN THE HALLWAYS.
So this really pisses me off. As I'm sure you can guess, I am still in high school, meaning I run into this problem all the time. I want to get to my next class as fast as possible. I ain't got time for slow pokes. It's as if they are thinking "I am the only one in the hallway so I am going to walk as slow as humanly possible. Because I really want to be late for my next class." WTF? No. Just no.
If you want to talk to your friend, talk to them on the side. Don't just stop in the middle of the freaking hallway or even slow down to talk to them. Chances are, you will see them somewhere else and if it was that important you would step off fto the side. Don't even get me started on couples with their hand holding and KISSING in the middle of the hallway.
It Just doesn't make any sense to me as to why people would slow down traffic. I mean, I am one of those awkward people who will try to get around you if you are in my way. You know that moment when you are about to walk into someone so you both try to move out of the way, but you still end up in each other's way? Yes, well, I get those daily. It's is not fun. If you see someone walking your way just kindly move to the opposite side of the hall. You should both be walking on the RIGHT side of the hall anyways.
2. OUR GENERATION TEXTING.
What is my problem with the way that our generation texts? Well, for starters none of us seem to know how to spell. Last time I checked, we we are not in elementary school. You should know how to spell 'the' and 'this'. Also, will someone please explain to me why people feel compelled to change their 'g' to a 'q'? It doesn't look cool, in fact it makes you look like a freaking retard with some cheap poop of a keyboard. Honestly, is it that hard to type a 'g'?
It irkes me to no extent when my friends will text me and not use the correct punctuation marks. I can't tell what the hell your sentence means when you say something like this: "Did you see hat thing that happened with Betsy she like totally did that thing that she wasn't supposed to you know? Now she thinks she can just get away with it like no bitch you can't" Honestly. Really? Can you read that? Maybe I can't do a good example, but I know for a fact some of you guys don't use commas in your texts.
Yeah, yeah. Texts are supposed to be breif messages and therefore we do not need to worry about our spelling and grammar. Sure, when texting was a new thing they were actually used as brief messages, but now that the only way that some of us comunicate. All I am trying to say is that if you are trying to text me as if we were having a real conversation, at least use decent spelling and grammar.
3. INSULTS.
I know, a lot of people are talking about anti-bullying so this isn't original and blah blah blah. But I am not talking about bullying, I am talking about everyday life. Facebook as an example: I will just be scrolling down my news feed to see what is going on in the lives of my friends and then BAM. I see a whole page of statuses full of people calling other people 'niqqer' (with 'q' and not 'g') and 'bitch'. Um, hello. I realize that some people mean it in a good way, but can't you compliment someone without using any derogatory remarks? What happened to the kindness of the world? I for one very rarely cuss at someone or use bad language towards them. You could ask any of my friends and they would tell that I am constantly complimenting people with words like 'amazing' and 'awesome'. I don't see the reason behind calling my friend a bitch unless I am extremely mad at them and ready to claw their eyes out. I just don't get it. Someone mind explaining?
4. EXCUSE ME.
As most of you don't know, I am in my high school band. Everyday we go to take out our instruments and put our backpacks on this rack-type thing. It's like a bunch of shelves on one of the walls in the band room. Of course after practice or class we are all rushing to get out of the band room; on main problem being that we get in each others way because our stuff is so close together. I just try to go about my business and stay out of peoples way and so do some other people. BUT then there are those people who always say "Excuse me." I wouldn't have a problem with this normally, beside the fact that it happens to me everyday by more than five people.
Instead of me trying to explain my thoughts to you, let me just simply tell you what they are: "Excuse YOU bitch. Can't you see that I need to get my stuff too? You ain't the only one who has a class they got to get to. What about ME? I need to get to my stuff too. Ca't you just back the fuck up and wait like any normal human being?" I know. I sound so selfish. Allow me to explain.
I don't start off thinking this. I start off happy and well mannered. Then comes the time when I finally get to my instrument case and I start putting up my instrument. Keep in mind I have been waiting for at least 10 minutes for people to pack their shit up and move. One would think it's my turn, right? No, apparently not the stupid person who comes up behind me every time and says "Ecuuusseee me." in a little annoyed voice like they are mad because I am in their way. Bitch please. Of course being the completely awesome person I am, I just let them through. Then I resume doing whatever I was doing. When the second person comes up with the same 'i'm-more-important-than-you-so-fuck-off' attitude is when I start thinking what I mentioned before.
I don't mean to be rude, honestly. I realize that your backpack is on the same shelf as mine and blah blah blah. But I mean, come on. I waited on you and half the class. Don't you think you could spare a minute for me to get my stuff and go? Apparently not.
