Chapter 4 - New Adventures!

-7:35AM-

Elliot's POV

I flutter my eyelids open to see Bianca and Tristan staring at me, I dunno why- I can't just wake up in peace!?

I stretch my arms as I raise myself up from the floor to see what was going on. I scratch my back and yawn as I was tired as well.

"Good morning-" I was saying until I was immediately met with a bonk on the head!

"OWW!! WHAT THE HECK!?" I shout out to them in pain, rubbing my head as I groan in annoyance.

"Do you have any idea on what you were doing last night?!!" Bianca says to me in a stern tone like she was my mother or somthing-

"Sleeping??" I say to them, lying obviously, my brain just took a bit to process on what they were questioning me for, and I DEFINITELY wasn't going to tell them the truth, that's just dumb!

"Does your sleeping have something to do with the DOOR BEING OPEN!?" Tristan shouts out to me, pointing to the door. I look over to see what he was talking about, and sure enough, the door was about halfway open, the black corruption still seeping at the same spot.

"Ohhh....uh...sorry?" I say to the both of them, smiling awkwardly, by the look of their faces, they weren't buying it, at all.

"You better be sorry!! If we were anymore unlucky, the corruption could've swarmed in and consumed us all while we were sleeping! What were you even doing out there!?" Bianca asks me, going up to the door, closing it and locking it in the process.

"I was just exploring the place! I just wanted to see what I could find! This isn't my world y'know??" I say to them whilst dusting off my jacket.

"That 'exploring' could've killed us! Y'know- curiosity kills the cat! In this case, pibbified creatures kill the living!" Bianca says, making sure that the door was completely safe and secure.

"Look- I'm sorry okay!? BUT! I did find something whilst I was exploring anyways! I just didn't want to tell you now since you guys were like- sleeping." I say to the both of them. They look at each other, and then back at me, blinking and confused.

"What did you find?? If it's some stupid note I'm not taking it as anything-" Tristan says, folding his arms and his face turning into a frown. Well if he was that ungrateful I wouldn't have brought anything for him-

"Well no- but I found something that I saw at the other side of the city, it was white- a-and it was like a star- but- a circle! It looked so much like a-"

"Portal..."

The both of us turn to Bianca as we heard her voice say the word that I was going to say. She then reaches into her bag and takes out a blue leather sketchbook, she flips quickly to a page where a portal was drawn out on the page. It looked like the one I had saw last night!

"Did it look like this!?" She raises up the drawing to my face, I nod quickly 'yes' as a response. Bianca and Tristan's faces drained of color.

"So- does that mean you were right about the portals and weren't hallucinating!?" Tristan asks Bianca, I was also a bit confused, Bianca had seen a portal before?!

"I- yes!! YES I WAS RIGHT!! See Tristan!! There is some way out of here!! Elliot even confirmed it himself!!" Bianca begins to say, getting all emotional and happy.
