While most will look at Mono and immediately think 'why does she look weird' or 'how'd she get that scar' a few stuck with the minor.
'Maybe she fights a lot'
'Maybe she's a murderer'
Neither are true. The girl is just clumsy. No matter the amount of times she had explained that she was indeed just clumsy, no one believed her.
And that's how we will begin.
Mono sat on the floor of the alley she had walked through every night. Only this time. Not in a vigilante suit, this time she was in her citizen clothes with two people standing above her.
Mono lives in district 3, one of the worst districts out of 10, 10 being the best. A lot of crimes tend to happen in the district but Leithe was the one to protect district 2 and 3. She's not a hero, perse, she's a vigilante.
"You're so boring Mono, maybe if you learned to fight." One of the taller people kicked Monos side and laughed, crouching down to face her. "Maybe you wouldn't have to tell your foster parents about the bruises that show up."
The sinister look made Mono pissed. She knew showing her power at this very second would do more harm then good, so she didn't. She tried her best to ignore the two and eventually they left. Leaving the girl to get home with another possible fracture.
All in a days work I guess.
