I woke to find a letter in front of me. I don't know when it got there, but it did. I took it tenderly, feeling it for traps. None. Did Alex...? Surely Alex couldn't- maybe Alex could..?
"Are you gonna open it?" The voice startled me, and I looked to see Sera.
"Maybe. I don't know..." I mumbled. "Did you see what brought it here?" I asked, and Sera shook her head.
"Guards put it there." Part of me was disappointed. Maybe in my dream, next time, I could... use it to communicate with Alex. Yeah.
"Alright. I'll be out for the work today, Sera. Don't get in trouble.." I mumbled, like I was the father in the family that went away to work. It sounded like that.
The guards opened my door, and escorted me out to the fields and watched me work. After my last 'tantrum' they kept me on watch at all times.
Minus the bathroom. I could never pull something in that space. They knew that as well. Plus, who'd wanna watch me to do the do?

"Alex," Sam mumbled stepping forward toward me. I shook my head. "Have you messaged his cousin yet?" She asked.
"No...I've been getting to that...somewhere along the way..."
"Alex!"
"Fine, I'll do it now.." I grumbled, and gestured for the phone. She handed it to me, and I managed to get Annabeth on the phone.
"Who is this?" Her voice crackled through the phone.
"It's me. Alex." I mumbled, rolling my eyes at Sam.
"Oh-" she paused, and I could hear a slashing sound through the screen. "What's up?"
"Magnus is missing." I stared blankly, trying not to sound AS worried as I was. I had my own reputation to maintain. And sadly, Maggie ruined it perfectly. Flawlessly.
"What? Hold on- where are you heading? I need to help- and so I can smack him when I see him." She growled. And I smiled.
"You're not the only one. I'll fit you in, though. We're heading west, nearing.. Arizona. I believe." I nodded at Mallory for the help.
"Alright. I'll book a flight there. Once I'm done with this final exam." She joked. "See you, Alex." Annabeth said, her voice still crackling.
"Yeah. See you."
She must not have hung up, because I heard her screaming at Percy. "PERCY! PACK YOUR BAGS! MAGNUS IS MISSING!" She screeched. I hung up for her.
"Here." I handed her the phone back, and smiled. Phones were dangerous for demigods. At least... the Greek and Roman kind. Monsters would be after them in some minutes.
Unless they were in Camp Jupiter for their college. I had heard all about it. It did indeed sound interesting.
I sighed, looking out. "You sent it?" I glanced to see Mallory.
"Yeah. I don't know how it works when... when I don't know where he is." I mumbled.
AN: ending it there! Sorry it wasn't as long as the others, but I've been busy with school so I thought I should update at least.
