NEEDLESS TO SAY, WHEN DEAN HAD ARRIVED HOME, HE WAS PISSED. Not only had his daughter broken his number one rule, the mother of his child was too distracted to notice she had left.
Eliza had told him over the phone, not wanting to tell him in person, scared of his reaction. She knew that he would probably blow up at her for what happened, which is why she kept her distance.
Dean had a talk with his daughter about sneaking out, and the different dangers that could occur. He was trying not to speak too angrily, not wanting to upset his daughter. He was only a little mad at Aria; she was three, she doesn't really know what's wrong or what's right too well. But Eliza shouldn't have been too careless, she could've gotten hurt or drowned in the pond.
The whole situation stuck with him throughout the night, his mind coming up with ways to talk to Eliza. He wanted her to have some sort of punishment for not keeping an eye on the most precious thing in his life.
Perhaps he would take Aria away from her for a little while. He immediately shut the thought down. He didn't grow up with a mother, so who was he to take his child's away from her?
But, he could take her with him for a hunt—take her off Eliza's hands for a while.
Dean hadn't ever taken Aria with him on a hunt before, but he would find one that wasn't too dangerous if it meant that she could be away from Eliza for a while.
He had his mind made up.

Eliza was in her room that was beside Aria's. She was distressed to say the least.
How could she let her child sneak out like that? How could she be so careless with the one good thing in her life?
She knew that Dean would be furious, so she isolated herself in her bedroom, having put Aria down for a nap about an hour ago.
A knock on her door sounded, making her come out of her trance. Before she could answer, Dean walked into the room.
