BY NIGHTFALL, SAM, DEAN AND ARIA HAD LEFT FOR THE HUNT. Eliza had tried to say her farewell to her child, but the girl just hid her face in her father's pant leg. The woman hated what she said, especially since Aria had heard it, and now her daughter hated her.
Bobby had tried to tell Eliza that the little girl was just upset, and she would eventually forget it and move on, but the mother knew differently. Aria wasn't the child who forgets what happens and forgives, she would never forget this moment; what she said to Dean.
She knew that it would take some time for the girl to forgive her. Aria had a very close bond with Dean, and she knew that threatening it would send the girl off the rails.
As much as she hated the idea of her daughter joining Dean and Sam on a hunt, she knew Aria needed space from her. If she stayed, she was sure the toddler would've given her hell.
Eliza just hoped that Dean sticks to his promise and makes sure nothing even touches her child.

They had arrived at the motel not that long ago, Sam leaving to talk to the victim's roommate. Dean stayed behind to watch over Aria while he did research.
The girl was sprawled out on the motel bed, a coloring book sat in front of her, along with some crayons.
She had colored in about five pages of her Disney coloring book, which occupied her pretty well.
What her mother had said to her father still rang in her mind, never leaving. Why would her mother even say that? Doesn't she know that she needs her dad?
Aria didn't know how she felt towards her mother. In a way, she almost hated her. She had threatened to take her away from her dad, and she told her that her friend was just imaginary. But, she also didn't hate her. The woman had done nothing but give her everything. She didn't know what to think anymore. It all confused her.
