Confession

Yelena's POV:

"I think I like like you"

I froze.
I never felt anything for anybody in this type of way and then this happens?
The words that want to come out can't even come out.
"I- I- say it again?"
I stuttered out.
"I said that I- never mind sorry"
I got up off of her and went to the other side of the couch not knowing what to do.
Kate walked to the room and closed the door.
I felt really bad because I liked her but I was still processing my feelings.
I started tearing up when Clint came from out his room looking concerned.
"Hey you ok? I heard something."
Clint said in comforting voice as he came to the couch and sat next to me.

"I didn't mean to hurt her I just didn't know what to say since I never was into couple relationships"
I palmed the side of my face in guilt.
"You should have seen me with my wife. I was a guy who never showed people any more attention than just somebody to talk to"
Clint patted my back with a soft and gentle touch.

"Long story short, if you're not ready for a relationship, let em down easy. But if you are, go for it! Most of the time it works"
Clint gave me a soft smile and went back into his room.
I sighed and got up to go see if Kate was ok. I knocked on door twice hoping she would open it.

"Hey Kate it's me. Can we talk?"
After a few seconds she unlocked the door but didn't open it.
I opened the door and saw her face down on the pillow.
"I'm sorry if i made you uncomfortable"
Kate muffled in the pillow.
"No you didn't but get up I'm gonna give you something" I said giving her a soft smile.
After she got up I pretended I was pulling something out of my 1 of 1000 pockets then sat up to kiss her.
"H- here you go"
I stuttered.
Kate looked dat me for a second with sparkling eyes and kissed me back.
Maybe I was ready for a relationship.

Look I know it's short but it's only bc I am in trouble but just hang on pls (:
