JUST FRIENDS

Mixed feelings

(Kate meets Yelena's old friend and this is a month  dating)

Kate's POV:

I woke up without Yelena next to me and that was weird because she slept in my bed with me.
"Yelena you here?"
There was no answer.

I went outside of our room and into Clint's
"What do you want kid" Clint asked while working out.
"Do you know where Yelena went"
"No I don't know wherevyour little assassin is but I did see her walk out with fancy clothes. Maybe she found someone better"
Clint joked.
"Asshole"
"What did you say?"
"ASSHOLE"
Clint shut his door snickering after I left.
I remembered I have her location on my phone so I grab my phone and see her at this fancy breakfast place called First Watch.
"She not an extrovert like that"
I knew something wasn't normal about that I mean we're talking about Yelena belova right now.

I grab my keys and headed into my car to drive to her location.

I got there and parked my car to see her with a woman with a red coat and dark brown hair
"It's summer why are you wearing a coat"
I said to myself.
I was gonna walk over there but I didn't want to take the wrong idea on what was happening.
I paced around thinking whether or not I should go over there.

"Ok think think she would never cheat on you I mean shes too loyal. Besides, why would she? I'm trusting, I'm strong and I'm-"
"Overprotective?"
A familiar voice said behind me.
I turned around to Yelena with that 'what are you doing here look'
"H- hey how are you what's up?"
I said nervously chuckling.

"Yea I'm good this is my FRIEND Wanda you know the one I was gonna let you meet"
Yelena pointed at the red coated woman. Even though I was jealous at first I would be lying if I said she wasn't attractive.
'Woah what am I thinking you have a girlfriend'
"Oh hey I'm Kate"
We shook hands and went back into the breakfast place.

"Sorry about my antics I'm not really used to being in a relationship with trust yet" I whispered to Yelena. "It's alright knowing that I had trusting problems in the past"
She responded.

I sat down and made eye contact with Wanda which made me blush.
"So um Wanda where you from?"
I said trying to strike up a conversation.
"Another universe"
She replied blatantly.
I looked at Yelena in shock and confused.

"It's a very long story"
The blonde Russian said with a light smile
"She has powers like mind reading and mind control oh and can't forget Telekinesis"
Wanda chuckled at the comment.
"I have to use the restroom I'll be back"
Yelena said getting and heading the restroom.

I looked at Wanda and couldn't help but think 'damn  she's fine'
I thought as I drunk some water out my bottle.
"Did you forget I can read minds?"
The comment made me choke on my water.
"W-what did you s-say?"
I tried replying as I was choking.
"I think your cute too but Yelena is your girlfriend I can't betray her"

I looked down in embarrassment after what she said.
"Yea no i get it and I wouldn't want to betray her either. Friends?"
I held my hand out as she shook it.
"Friends"
A minute after we started talking about things she saw in other universes Yelena comes back out.

"Wow I see you guys make friends fast"
Yelena chuckled.
"I'm tired Kate can you drive Wanda to her house after you drop me off?"
I nodded and we headed to my car.
"Wait how did you guys get here?"
I asked them.
"Just drive"
Yelena replied.

We went to my house first to drop Yelena off then we were headed to Wanda's place "so what's your location"
I asked Wanda.
"Wait before I go home I wanted to check out the skating rink"
"it's closed after an incident with me and Yelena"
I sucked my teeth in.
"Yikes. Well I guess we'll just go to my spot- "
"BUT"
I interrupted her mid sentence.
"I have a couple tricks up my sleeve"

We made it there and I pulled out a Bobby pin and tried picking the lock which wouldn't budge.
"Hold on it's been a minute since I-"
She interrupted me by using her powers to unlock the door then walking in.
"You could've done that the whole Time"
I rolled my eyes and followed her.

"Do u want me to teach you how to skate?"
I asked Wanda.
"Yes"
She said simply.
We got on the rink and skated. After 50 tumbles Wanda got a hang of it.
"There you go"

We stayed till it was practically dark outside.
We took off our skates and went back to the car but we didn't get in yet.
"I have never been so joyful in my life"
Wanda laughed.
"Yea that was fun"
We giggled for a couple seconds and then Our eyes met.
I noticed her moving in and she kissed me with her soft  and mildly plump lips.
I started settling into it for only a nanosecond until I pushed her back out of guilt.
"What are you doing?"
I asked.

"I'm sorry I wasn't trying to jeopardize your relationship it was just-"
She stuttered out.
"It's fine let me just drop you home"
I wasn't mad because I did like it a little bit but I had Yelena and isn't that enough?
The drive to her place was silent and when I dropped her off and went to my place I checked my phone and seen multiple missed calls from Yelena.

"As soon as I step into this place I'm gonna die"
I got my keys and unlocked the door as I opened the door and put my keys down on the counter and set of hands grabbed me and pushed me against the wall.
"Where. Have. You. Been"
'Uh oh'
