(Kate text Yelena so they can get to know each other but it becomes chaos)

Kate's POV;

It has been a day or two since I've seen Yelena or even called her, so I guess texting her to see what's she's doing isn't doing any harm. I pull out my phone going to my contacts and started texting her.

K: hey hey hey!
'Nah too excited'
K: sup Yelena
'She knows I'm not that laid back'
K: hey how's it going!
'Perfect' I thought sending the message then putting my phone down. A few minutes passed by till I heard
A ding on my phone causing me to pick it up.
Y: hey I'm good how about you?
YAlright act cool'
K: nun just ate but hol on I gotta shit the door
I walked away shutting the door thinking I was ok just when she texted back real fast which she never does.
Y: ?!?!
"FUCK I SAID SHIT NOT SHUT"
K: autocorrect my bad
Y: it's cool but you know what I noticed?
K: what?
Y: we never got to know each other
K: your right! I'll go first. My favorite color is purple, my hobbies are shooting arrows, karate, and drawing and I also skate.
Y: my favorite color is dark red I like gymnastics, some art, boxing, and some karate but never really got into it since back in the day
K: alright do you have a favorite movie
Y: yea it's rush hour (only OG's know this)
K: that's a good movie mine is the hunger games
Y: hey let's meet tomorrow since that's when you come out I got a surprise
K: sure! I'll see you then

Yelena's POV:

I waited outside for her to come out because I had balloons, candy and lavender poppies since she like purple. It's the least I can do since I'm the reason she got shot. But put that to the side right now because I'm feeling weird every time I see her and I never like anyone so it couldn't be that so I guess she just a good friend. "Hey Yelena I'm back!" I turned away from my facing her. "Look at our soon to be avenger" I chuckled. She looked at all the things I had in my hand and was excited. "These are for you" I handed her the lavender poppies and the chocolate while I helped her get in the car. "Looks like the Russian woman has grown a soft spot for me" Kate smirked. "Oh shut up at least I don't SHIT the door" I went inside the car myself and saw her blush from embarrassment. "It was an autocorrect" Kate rolled her eyes snickering quietly. " ha anyways your balloons are right here too" "thanks I really appreciate it" she touched my hand and I felt my face get really hot for some reason "you okay? Your face is red" I cleared my throat wondering why I liked it. "Um y- yea just peachy" I awkwardly laughed and looked back at the road to drive.

We sat there for a couple minutes in silence when something popped in Kate's head. "Can I ask you ask you a question?" Kate questioned. "Sure" I answered wondering what she needed. "Are you still an assassin?" 'Shit she knows' (btw Yelena isn't a black widow anymore but she is in a group with 001a bunch of other ex- black widows killing people that worked in the red room)
"Uh w-well is it getting h-hot in here or what?"
"Answer the question." "Yes" Out of the time I've known Kate, she has never spoken so boldly. "Only for certain reasons" "what do you mean 'reasons'? It's not right" "you just handle your problems your way while I handle mines my way" I said slightly raising my voice. Kate turned to me with a half mad half sad face. "You serious? Yelena I don't know how you been taught since I never been through anything you have, but what I know is that what your doing to other people and yourself is not healthy." I swerved and parked the car on the side of the highway and got out trying to take a breather. I ended up crying and breaking down when Kate limped out the car.
"I- I just want my s- sister back" Kate sat down next to me and hugged me. "Hell I wish I got to meet her. The great Natasha" Kate said in a deep heroic voice which made me laugh. "I think we'll be great friends Kate Bishop" I got up and went back into the car to drive her to her house as we played girl in red.
