A century has passed since Todd and Thompson's era. They stayed together as a couple until they took their last breath. Now, this takes place in Norway. An intimidating man walks outside of his base as he passes his soldiers bowing to him.
"Prepare yourselves! We will go to England to start our battle!"
His army in red all salute him. "Yes, sir!"
Some go by helicopter and others by sea. They soon arrive and set everything up to begin the war against England. Sounds of explosions echo through part of England and the soldiers get out of the helicopters and boats to fight. On the other side waiting for their enemy in red, soldiers in three different colored uniforms were already aware of this and waited long enough to fight back. One of them in green spoke.
"Listen up everyone! Remember our orders: defeat the Red Army, no matter what! Understand?!"
All others reply, "Yes, sir!"
The soldiers in green, purple, and blue fight against the Red Army. Luckily, every bystander evacuated to America one week ago. So, it's an all out war, without any casualties.
In the middle of the battlefield, the three young leaders join in with weapons they kept safe.
"Let's go, you guys! Let's make them pay!"
"We know, Edd. We've prepared for this for a long time," Tom says.
Matt comments, "Those punks destroyed a lot of priceless mirrors, so they'll all go down!"
They go, duck for cover, and shoot any enemy they see. It's a showdown, and both sides are evenly matched. That is, until the leader in red falls from the sky and lands on top of a green soldier's head, cracking his skull. He uses his favorite guns and shoots the enemies while wearing his bullet proof armor.
"Don't let up! We will bury our dead friends who sacrificed their lives fighting for us! Let's defeat our enemies for their sake!"
"Yes sir, Red Leader, sir!"
More backup arrives and soon, the soldiers in green, blue, and purple have to retreat and regroup another time. The Red Leader decides to leave a battalion and more to stay in England while they wait for his command.
"You will guard this place and make it a temporary base until all of England is ours! The rest of you, follow me!"
Half go in the helicopters and others go in by tanks and other vehicles, conquering the rest of England in less than a month. The country is theirs and the Red Leader runs it with a robotic fist. He leaves a lot of battalions and more scattered to make sure it stays that way.
"Let's head back to our base! Our job here is done...for now!"
During his orders, Edd and the other two sneak in a helicopter and wait until the Red Army goes in and leaves. Their soldiers sneak onboard a couple of boats and wait as well. Soon, they all get in and leave England.
It took a few hours, but they made it. The ships made it after them and everyone got out. Red Leader is the last to get out and goes inside. He's greeted by two of his best men, Paul and Patryk.
"Welcome back, sir. Patryk and I hope it went as smoothly as we predicted."
"Yes, there's no doubt. England is ours, and soon, the rest of this world."
"We're glad. And we made sure this place stays in order as if you're still here. So far, no intruder found this place, and no traitors here."
"Excellent. And when will it be the time for more recruits to join in our cause?"
"In a week. We've received a lot of applications and they will be here, being part of the army."
"Now, that is music to my ears."
All three go to his office, unaware that Edd, his friends, and their army sneak out to get information on the base and find a way to put an end to this madness soon.
"Let's split up. Matt, you and your soldiers check the outside of this base, if you see any soldier in your way, knock them out. Tom, you and your soldiers go inside so you can tell us what this base has in store for us. My soldiers and I will be your backup and let you know if anything's wrong."
Matt and his soldiers scout outside where they can see a few soldiers and some civilians in the city and a border separating it from the base, with half of Edd's soldiers behind them, just in case.
Tom goes inside with his soldiers to check every room and more, writing down what they find, and shutting any security that would track them down with the other half of Edd's soldiers watching them at a distance.
Edd and at least ten of his soldiers are watching where they cannot be seen. They stay silent and only respond when they're being called from both parties.
So far so good.
With Red Leader, he schedules appointments to speak with a few world leaders; his least favorite thing to do. He would rather fight to gain more power, but sometimes, he cannot be too reckless until he and the world leaders negotiate under his terms, otherwise he'll just do what he did to England when they refused to meet his demands.
A few minutes later, he gets a silent alarm from his phone, letting him know he has trespassers.
'Something started the alarm? This is a first in...forever.'
He unlocks his phone that shows all three parties desperately trying to sneak in his property without getting caught.
He chuckles, 'Looks like my old friends want to play again.'
He gets up to go get something from his lab underground; he's greeted by his tech engineer, a tall man with black hair and light green eyes named Al.
"Red Leader, it's nice to see you."
"The feeling's mutual."
Both go directly to a room where his armory is kept for any special occasions.
"Is it finally ready?"
"Yes sir. I made your suit just the way you like it. I even gave it a few upgrades so you'll get better results."
Red wastes no time to put it on; it's exactly the way he likes it.
"I'll let you know if it's worthy of a nice reward. Keep working on a few suits, Al."
"At once."
