The perfect moment

Chapter 1 - First day of school

"Kring Kring."

My alarm rung. Today is our first day of school! I'm excited cause I missed my friends because we haven't seen each other for a long time after our ballet classes in summer.

Zoe, next to my bed, is still asleep. She's my twin but we doesn't look the same. She's way perfect than I am. Many guys in school and dance school likes her because she's beautiful. She has a blonde hair while I have a brown hair. She's way better than me in dancing, and smarter than me. Not that I'm ugly but it's just that she's way awesome than me. But that's okay atleast we're close to each other and we actually consider ourselves as bffs.

"Glaire and Zoe! Go downstairs and be ready for school. It's your first day." My mom shouted.

"Yes mom, we're coming!" I answered back. And then, I woke Zoe up. "Zoe, it's our first day of school." Zoe suddenly sat down and got up of her bed. "Omg! I forgot. I'm so excited. I can't wait to meet new friends." Zoe said in excitement.

"Glaire and Zoe! Finally you're here." Laury said in excitement. "I can't wait to tell you something."

"What is it?" Zoe and I asked.

"I've met a new guy and he's really hot!" Laury told us. "We've met at the stairs when we bumped into each other and I dropped my books and he helped me pick them up. But he's in a hurry that we haven't had a time to introduce ourselves."

"Oh, bad for you. But I want to meet him and I know you're perfect for each other." Zoe told her and I smiled.

"How could you tell? They just met" I stated. Zoe then leaned towards me, "leave it be. Laury gets crushes as rare as the times you cuss." Zoe whispered. I glared at her and she just posed with a peace sign.

True enough, I don't really cuss. Between Zoe and I, I'm the good girl. Straight good grades and i abide by the rules.

It's not yet time and we still have a long time to find our classrooms. But we already know where it is and we don't know where can spend our time.

Nearby, a redhead near the lockers was surrounded by boys while she ignored them and was only texting. "Ace!" Laury shouted. Ace looked up from her phone and pushed her way out of the guys. "Hi Laury!" Ace hugged her and did the same with Zoe and I.

"Why don't we just go to the cafeteria and eat some food." Ace suggested. "Sure!" we all answered. Yes, we eat too much but we're not fat because we go to ballet classes and we eat healthy food.

They all left me while I'm buying some snacks for us and I've got no idea where they are.

Luckily, I saw one of our old classmates and I asked her if she saw them around. But her answer was, "sorry but I haven't."

"It's fine. I'll just look for them. Maybe they're just in the hallways." I told her.

It feels really weird passing through a group of students when you're alone. But when I passed by, I saw a group of boys and there's this one guy whom they are teasing and they're looking at me! And I am actually irritated by them but I just acted like I haven't seen them. But I heard them saying, "Men, she's alone. Why don't you join her?"

I was getting more annoyed and I wanted to tell them something. But I can't! It's first day of school and I don't want to mess up with anyone. Like I said, I'm the good girl. But they're such a btch. See what I did there? I cussed. I can be a rebel too. I saw the boy and he's kinda cute. But well, This day is gonna be long for me. I turned away and continued looking for my squad.

"Glaire!" A manicured hand held my arm. "Maggie!" I smiled. "Why did you look so irritated?." Maggie flipped her black hair with blue highlights. Maggie is the most girly in our Clique. "Huh? It's nothing." I shook my head.

"Have you seen the girls?" I changed the subject because I quickly remembered the boy who was blushing. "Woah, girl, are you actually blushing?" Maggie teased. "What? N-no!" I faced my back towrds her. "Oh my god! You are!" Maggie shouted. She hooked her arm with mine. "Let's meet this boy." She wiggled her eyebrows. "Maggie! There is NO such boy!" I shouted. Practically everyone is looking at us now with our shouting. She just smiled and dragged me away from the lockers. "C'mon, I saw them in the library boy hunting."

Kriiing Kriiing!

The bell has rung and it's finally end of school!

I'm with the clique right now and we're heading off to our ballet classes. We're not exactly the mean girls but we do have a bit of a reputation. I mean, we have Ace, the school heartthrob. Kristen gets to do a few screening in Hollywood. Zoe is the cheerleading captain. Maggie is a famous model in campus. I'm a singer.

All of us have one thing in common. Yes, all of us are a ballet dancer and it's the reason why we met each other that's why we call ourselves  "Bunheads". We treat ourselves like sisters and we love hanging out together after classes.

During our ballet class..

"Ok girls, welcome to the first day of our seasonal ballet class. I hope that you'll get better. I am teacher Abby and I'll be your teacher for level 3 class."

We've done a lot of bar exercises especially extensions. But my favorite part are the turns.

After our ballet class, I proceed to the locker with Zoe. I checked my phone and I saw a notification saying, "Lyndon has sent you a friend request." And who the hell is Lyndon? I opened the notification and the guy looks familiar. Oh my, he is the cute guy that was being teased by his friends. I felt a finger on my forehead. "Why so angry big sister?" Zoe asked putting her hand away. "We're both sixteen." I said. "You're born 5 minutes and 28 seconds earlier." She said closing her locker.

Until we got home, I stalked him.

And I've got a weird feeling. I think that he's really cute. And I think I'm already crushing on him. But, please hell no. I'm scared to tell them about this. I'm not fond of having crushes.
