Chapter 6

During our Math class...

"Good morning everyone!" Our teacher greeted us.

"Today, we'll be having a test. And for you to know, you should pass this test to be able to pass this subject," Miss Dizon said.

While we're taking the test, there are group of students that are passing through our classroom. I noticed that someone is looking at me.

And that actually inspire me to answer the test cause I just saw Lyndon looking at me with his sweet smile! And there's this another guy beside him looking at me too. He waved his hand but I just smiled cause Miss Dizon might get my test paper if she saw me talking to someone outside our classroom, she might fail me and I won't be able to qualify for honors anymore.

Yes, I'm an honor student. Not that I'm bragging but it's just that me and Zoe's parents have high expectations on us. They told us that we should have grades that would qualify for honors.

After 30 minutes, the time Miss Dizon gave us to answer the test. All of us got out of the room to eat our lunch. I was surprised that I saw Lyndon outside of our classroom's door.

"Hey," he said.

Zoe gave me a sign that she'll be going first with Laury and Ace at the canteen and reserve a table. With that, she 'simply' passed behind Lyndon and made a heart gesture while mouthing 'BIL'. I widened my eyes at her and raised my fist as a sign that I'm going to kill her while she ran away to out the classroom calling Ace and Laury. Lyndon looked behind him then chuckled to the door where Zoe was screaming loudly and jumps on Ace's back causing them both to fall and Laury laughing her heart out.

I heard myself say, "Hey.. Amm. What are you doing here?"

Awkward.

"Actual-ly.." He said and pause. "I'm waiting for you."

What did he say? Did I just hear that? He's waiting for me!? Oh my gosh. I can't breathe!! I felt that I'm blushing. I quickly looked down. And honestly, I can't say anything right now.

Forget stupid butterflies, I feel the entire Central Zoo when he's around with me.

"What? You didn't have to--" my speech got cut short when he handed me a rose.

Oh.my.fudging.gosh.

A smile crept to my face and took the red unthorned rose from his grasp. Then he spoke up again, "It's from a friend. He's asking me to give it to you." With the heart-breaking death sentence, he walked away leaving me feeling so rejected.

....

"I hate you." I said to the rose that was given to me that I placed in a glass vase.

I was hurt. That was an undestandment. But it's not like I have the right to.

"Hey. You've been acting all emo over there for the last four episodes of Silly Little Gossips." I turned around from my desk to hear Zoe on MY bed watching on a paused flatscreen that was placed on a wall away between our beds. I glared at her. "Shut up. What're you doing on my bed?" I asked. "I don't want crumbs on my bed." She said pointing to her cheetos. I raised my 2 brows at her and she just grinned. She get another cheetos and ate it.

"Btw, what did Lyndon say to you this lunch break?" I looked at her and I saw in my mind again what just happened last lunch break. "Well, Lyndon gave me a rose." I said with a sad face. "OH MY GOSH!!" Zoe shouted. "But why are you sad??"

"Cause.." I sat down on Zoe's bed. "It's not from him," I said while looking down. "WHUT!?" Zoe said angrily. "Then, from who is it?" She asked again. "It's from his friend." I answered.

After that, Zoe seems like not saying a word anymore. I just transferred to my bed beside Zoe and lied down and sleep.
