A World Once Learned

Months gracefully slipped away as Neoma, Meah, and Snip settled into their new lives within the village.

Neoma, enchanted by the village's tranquility, found a serene haven in a quaint cottage. Mornings greeted her with the aroma of brewing tea as she delved into ancient scrolls and books from the library eagerly absorbing the rich history embedded within the village's lore.

Meah, Her dwelling exuded an ethereal ambiance, hints of mystical energies subtly interwoven with the very essence of her home. Days were a delicate dance of nurturing the vibrant flora and harmonizing the magical currents that flowed through the village, drawing curious glances.

Snip, an adventurous spirit with an insatiable curiosity, found a charming dwelling near the heart of the village. Days were spent wandering through the village, engaging in lively conversations, and occasionally stumbling upon impromptu gatherings where her vivid tales of the nether never failed to captivate the audience.

Neoma felt an overwhelming sense of boredom and decided to break away from the monotony of her townhome, grabbing her backpack before stepping outside. The scene that greeted her was lively—energetic children running around in front of her home, their laughter filling the air.

"Terri! Iris! Get back here!" a voice called out.

"Haha! Mommy's coming, hide!" giggled the mischievous duo as they darted behind Neoma.

"I am so sorry!" a harried voice apologized, reaching out to retrieve her children. "These little rascals-!"

"No worries, it's all good," Neoma reassured her, crouching near the kids. "Listen, cover your eyes real quick, yeah?"

The mother smiled and discreetly whispered directions to her home, and Neoma acknowledged with a thumbs up. Guiding the children cautiously to their house, she handed them over to their mother's care.

As the kids scurried indoors, Neoma turned to leave when she felt a gentle hand rest on her shoulder.

"Thank you so much! I owe you one or two!"

"It's no problem honestly," Neoma replied. Yuri expressed her gratitude, eager to reciprocate the favor. Expressing her intent to cook as a gesture of gratitude. Neoma accepted, suggesting Yuri bring the food to her home when it's ready.

"Okay! Once again, thank you!" Yuri smiled gratefully.

With a wave goodbye, Neoma resumed toward the library.

Entering the library, Neoma's gaze swept across the grand expanse of emptiness that enveloped the room. Dusty bookshelves stood sentinel, guarding the forgotten tales within, while ancient furniture collected layers of neglect. Cobwebs adorned the ceiling, weaving a forgotten tapestry in the hallowed space.

"Can I help you, lass?" A poised, well-dressed lady emerged, holding a stack of books. "If you're here for the art class, that's been canceled," she remarked, eyeing Neoma curiously.

"Actually, I'm not here for that. I'm just exploring, hoping to find a map of the place, or maybe even of the world," Neoma replied.

"A map of the world?" The lady raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Why would you need that?"

"I come from the highest mountains in Teia! Born and raised amidst severe snowstorms. I'm just trying to find my way back home!" Neoma explained.

"Land of Teia, you say?" With a thoughtful nod, the woman set down her books, adjusted her glasses, and motioned for Neoma to follow. "Come with me, lass. I might have something of interest for you."
