'I'm scared of him that's why, but a week ago, i saw him happily having a picnic with commoners this is my

y/n saw Meta Knight interacting with Daroach almost everyday,

Since Daroach secretly enters the mansion to bring Meta Knight his sweet delights, you sometimes encounter him in the corridors running he stops when he sees you and says hello,

Daroach informs you about what's happening on Town of Wind.

"Is everything good in our old town?"

"Nothing really bad is happening except when every diamond we own turned to chocolate it got harder to sell!"

"I understand your pain haha! My treasure box of my life savings turned to nasty chocolate goo" you suddenly remembered how you hated how selfish rich people could be at times.

"Gosh all these chocolate thing is really frustating, only small children and Meta Knight cares about chocolate, but not us commoners who has to clean everything up!" You almost shouted and you immediately covered your mouth.

"You'll earn enough money so you don't have to clean anyone's messes up y/n I believe in you" Daroach chuckles as he pats your head.

You looked at him with a sad and tired expression, l because you know about his true nature, you don't really blame him for having to steal valuables but you felt like it wasn't fair.

"It takes real guts to go from top the bottom, Daroach I admire that." You said trying to smile,

"Thank you lady y/n I'll get going now the cafe isn't gonna manage itself"
he says as he puts back his top hat and walked outside.

Daroach is the only person you're comfortable speaking with and it feels refreshing to just talk without being yelled at, unlike Butler Vul, he remembers the time you messed up housework when you're new to the mansion you know that was 5 years ago and you've improved drastically but Vul will closely observe your actions and let out his anger on you when you stumble, you learned how to keep your anger inside and never talk back.

You sweep ashes from the fireplace and replaced it with new firewood, you thought to yourself

'Daroach is only friends with Meta Knight because Meta Knight needed something from him...If I could just be in any use other than cleaning he would acknowledge me'

you were overthinking the ways to get him to need you, you even considered putting him in danger and saving him but you haven't gone that low to actually do it,

you sighed as you headed to the kitchen to cook, you thought why does Meta Knight not have a personal cook? He obviously doesn't know anything about work! He treated me like an infinity in one maid!

You're completely fine with working, but the thought of being overworked and underpaid make you grit your teeth, almost crying at the fact you didn't have much of a childhood, you didn't finish school, that you possibly end up holding wash rags forever.
