Chapter 14: Nostalgia

*THUD*

"Ah!" You jolted,

"As the new Lady of this house, you'll have responsibilities, and that is being elegant and proper just like Lord Meta Knight."

Butler Vul placed a large book infront or you, it was "rules" of some sort.

"We'll start with etiquette, as you already know the basics like proper posture and table manners....let me see how you walk."

You stood up and began walking like normal.

"Tilting your head a bit more upwards will look more elegant, just like princesses carrying books at their head in stories, or shall I also do the same?" Vul lifted your chin with a stick.

"Now that you say that, this really feel like princess training they say on books" you said in sheer excitement.

"Your training to be one of the elite class, training to belong."

You thought about maybe Vul was the one who made Meta Knight as insecure as he was before, you frowned but immediately focused walking properly.

"You're not a servant anymore, you need not to walk in a hurry, Again."

Meta Knight watched you struggle to perfect everything Vul says,

"Vul, can I have a moment with y/n?" He peeked from the door.

"Very well my Lord."

You quietly approached where Meta Knight was, what does he have to say?

"I understand if you found this way of life, distasteful, but I really think it's important.." he held your hands to reassure you.

"Im completely fine with what I have now Meta Knight don't worry!" You smiled, but to be fair, you do find this strict way of life distasteful.

"I strongly believe you could perfect everything that is being taught to you, I wish you luck"

"How sweet" you rub his cheeks.

"I'll give you rewards for being an obedient girl" he says as he kisses your hand.

The memory of what happened last night lingered to your mind, you froze in place as Meta knight left you flustered. You even heard him giggle in the way.

You walked back inside to continue your training,

"Something that has to change is your pace, you're used to doing everything quickly y/n"

'that's not my fault!!' You thought to yourself.

It was an hour long training of just Vul telling you to repeat walking, sitting, talking and picking up something from the ground.

"Etiquette session is done, you may have a break"

You sighed in relief and finally left the room, you felt like you were able to breathe freely for the first time, you entered Meta Knight's room to rest yourself.

"Rest all you can my dear, you need it." The fancy knight says as he plays a fast piece from his Violin

"I didn't know you played the viol- oh wait, I remember....I remember when i was 17, I couldn't sleep because Vul told you to repeat the same 10 notes until you played it fast enough.."

"Exactly" he started playing his violin again.

"Imagine if we're just commoners we won't have a "Vul" doing that to us" you said as you buried your face in a pillow.

Meta Knight briefly stopped playing to think about what you had said, he continued playing a slow piece afterwards.

"Well atleast I'm not required to play an instrument..." You jokingly said as Meta knight looked at you directly
