Planes were something George despised. The rattling of their engines, the height they flew at, the time it took to get through customs. While he enjoyed the fact he was going somewhere he was long overdue to go to, and desperately wanted to see these people, he hated the trip itself. But as it almost always does, the plane landed smoothly, and he was off it in no time.

In America. Specifically, Orlando, Florida, because landing in Washington DC would in no way help him to get closer to his friends and where they live. Where he lives now too.

He went through the final steps he needed to, collected his bags, and finally left the airport. Wearing a hoodie and sweats in spring was probably not the best plan, but it was 3am here, so he didn't have an issue.

As it was so early, there was only one car in the pickup area, besides the Taxis and the odd Uber. An average height man leaned against it, scrolling through his phone, looking bored until George called out to him.

"Sapnap!" He yelled, lugging the two large suitcases he was 'required' to bring. 'Required' by Dream, not Sapnap, he didn't give a shit how much luggage George brought while they waited for the rest, telling them he would most likely steal all of Dream's clothes anyway. This sent a wave of blush over George's face, but earned a scoff from Dream, who told him he didn't want George relying on his clothes.

The younger man looked up to see who called his name and ran forwards, bringing the other into a hug. His laughter was muffled by Georges shoulder in which his head was buried into. "It's so good to finally see you man!" He exclaimed as they pulled away from the hug.

George nodded in response, a smile spreading across his face as he fully examined his friends face in real life. It got even wider when he realised the height difference between the two. "Good to see you too 'Shortnap'." He cackled as Sapnap's face plummeted.

"Fuck you." He huffed, grabbing one of George's bags and heading for the car. George's happy gaze lingered on his best friend for a moment longer, realising what and who he was missing, before quickly catching up to Sapnap.

"Where's Dream?" He asked curiously. Sapnap tensed slightly, covering it up by shoving the bags into the boot of the car.

"He didn't want to come." He told George vaguely. George's eyes furrowed slightly, climbing into the car's passenger seat.

"Why not?" He inquired, a sad tint to his voice. 'Why doesn't he want to see me?' Sapnap shrugged in response, focusing on the road.

The car trip was filled with laughter and chatter, both boys happy to be in each other's presence. It didn't feel like long until they pulled into the driveway of their house. George wasn't shocked by the appearance or size of the house, having spent many hours facetiming the two while they considered buying it. Dream wore his mask or a box head like Crumbs the entire time.

The happy mood continued until Sapnap noticed there wasn't another car in the driveway. George's heart plummeted.

"Let's just go. I'm sure you want to sleep." He muttered, taking both suitcases inside. Sapnap frowned but lead George to the room regardless, leaving to his own devices once they reached the door.

He opened the door and was slightly surprised to see the room decorated exactly the way he and Dream had planned. Beside the crisp white envelope sitting on the bed, awaiting his arrival. His eyes furrowed at its presence, shifting his bags from the corridor into the room while it waited for him to investigate it.

He picked it up and read the writing on the front. 'George', it read, in messy, scrawled out letters, clearly written with either little care or in a rush. Flipping it over, a small note was scribed onto the back of the card. 'From Dream :)'. He scoffed at it, but it sent a wave of butterflies into his stomach as he thought about the man.
