two days have passed since you met Mia at Jimin's house and made your offer to him.

a lot of things happened at that moment.

Mia's lawyer sent the letter which invited Jimin to face Silvie's mother in tribunal on Monday of the next week.

Jimin came to you panicked and in tears to ask if your offer was still up for him to take since you gave him some time to think about it.

Taehyung made you another offer to buy your shares, this time he was offering 8 million, you still refused.

You contacted Yoongi to ask him to come back to New York and represent Jimin, or better to say your fiancé, and the boy accepted not before scolding you for marrying a man after knowing him for only 4 days.

now you were standing in front of the city hall waiting for Jimin to come and sign the papers making you officially a married couple.

he was running late. you sighed and worriedly looked at the watch on your wrist. 15 minutes already.

you looked up and saw him running towards you. the little kid running behind him giggling and holding her father's hand

<I'm so sorry Y/n. they called me from school and asked me to come to pick her up because she wasn't feeling well and now we are late let's go>

he said in one breath and took your hand in his other before pulling you up the stairs of the city hall.

<she doesn't look sick>

you whispered to him once you were inside the building. Jimin rolled his eyes and shot a glare at the little girl

<sit here and wait for us>

he ordered with a firm voice, Silvie obeyed sitting on one of the chairs outside of the room you were supposed to go into already 15 minutes ago

<I know she doesn't. I guess she just wanted to be here but I told her no... so she found another way to come>

Jimin sighed and you chuckled before winking to the girl from over his shoulder. Silvie smiled innocently.

you said and turned to knock on the big door. you had decided to not tell anyone about you getting married and you won't even wear the rings for the first days.

you needed it to be a secret so Mia wouldn't be able to make something up. Jimin wouldn't even move in with you since someone may notice it.

no one knew, well Yoongi and Allison did, but just because Yoongi was your lawyer, you didn't even tell Namjoon and you were feeling bad about it.

you felt as if you were lying to him but you just couldn't risk it all and tell him. you had promised Jimin you wouldn't.

Jimin put the pen down on the desk and smiled at the man sitting behind it

he commented and looked at the two of you from over his glasses. Jimin opened his mouth probably to make up some excuse keeping his nice attitude, however you talked before he could

you got up from your chair and left the room. you heard Jimin apologizing to the man before following you.

for the passing two days, you've spent more time with Jimin as you were organizing your plan and you felt the confusing feelings you had for him intensifying.

you still didn't know how to call it but you knew it was there.

<why were you so rude to him?>

Jimin asked once the door closed behind your backs. you shrugged your shoulders

you simply replied before reaching your hand for Silvie to catch it and placing a smile on your lips

<do you want to go playing with Jackie again?>

she nodded her head and you smiled at the sight in front of you.

Taehyung put his legs on the desk of his office as he brought the phone up to his ear

<yes mom?>

he asked and waited for the woman to speak on the other side

<Leonor just left the house, she is coming to visit you>

Mrs. Kim said and Taehyung sighed heavily

<does she really has to?>

Leonor moved in with Taehyung just the day before they announced their approaching marriage and the boy already had enough of her presence everywhere in the apartment.

the girl gave the house the warmth it leaked and deep down Taehyung was grateful for that, but he would never show it. instead he pretended to feel annoyed

<because it's been a while since you showed up somewhere together. take her to lunch or people will start suspecting>

Taehyung's mother advised and cut the call. he took his legs off the wooden desk and fixed his posture in his chair

it's been a couple of days since you didn't talk to him at all. not even for work matters, you just sent Cassie.

work was your pretext to talk to each other and now you avoided even that.

the day he called you to his office and offered you a higher price for your shares was the last time you talked to each other.

the brunette caught a pen between his fingers and started fidgeting with it

the truth was he never wanted you out of Kim Cruise. he wanted you to stay there, to keep having you by his side.

he didn't want to cut the only string keeping you with him and his heart ached at the thought he needed to.

Taehyung just knew he couldn't allow you to stay in the company. you needed to stay out of it or you would pay for his family's mistakes as well... and it was already enough that he was the one paying for them even tho he didn't make those mistakes.
