As Yeonjun followed Professor Park down the corridor, he couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and determination coursing through him. He knew he would have to face the consequences of his actions, but he also felt a deep-seated conviction in defending his brother.

Entering Professor Park's office, Yeonjun stood tall before the professor's desk, his expression calm but resolute. Professor Park regarded him sternly before speaking.

"Yeonjun, it's the first day of the academic year, and you're already..." Professor Park sighed, his disappointment evident. "What happened out there?" His tone was firm but not unkind.

Yeonjun met his gaze squarely, his eyes reflecting the turmoil within. "Jung Dongsik and his gang were bullying my brother, Soobin. I couldn't just stand by and watch."

Professor Park nodded, understanding dawning in his expression. "I see. While I appreciate your loyalty to your brother, resorting to violence is never the answer."

Yeonjun nodded in agreement, his jaw set with determination. "I understand, Professor. I'll accept whatever consequences come my way."

Professor Park regarded him for a moment longer before letting out a heavy sigh. "Very well. As a faculty member, I'm obligated to report this incident to the administration, and I'll have to call your parents. Other than that, you're free to go."

Yeonjun's confusion was palpable. "You're just letting me go, Professor?"

Professor Park met Yeonjun's gaze with a measured look. "Yes."

"Why?" Yeonjun pressed, unable to comprehend the leniency.

"I know that Dongsik causes trouble, but we can't touch him due to his reputed family," Professor Park explained with a hint of frustration. "I brought you here to demonstrate that I took action by reprimanding you. After all, I am taking action by calling your parents, right? So when I report this incident to the Dean, I'm certain he'll review the security footage. You know how Mr. Min operates. That'll suffice. You won't face consequences, and Dongsik will too."

"So...You just brought me here to show that you took action against me in the security footage?" Yeonjun questioned, his brow furrowing with uncertainty.

"Uh-huh, that's right. I don't want anyone ranting that Professor Park Jimin is partial," Professor Park responded, his attention focused on reviewing some papers spread out on his desk.

"Are you partial, Professor?" Yeonjun couldn't resist a mischievous grin, testing the boundaries.

Professor Park looked up at him, his expression momentarily unreadable. "Let's just say I try to be fair, Yeonjun. But in situations like this, fairness can be... complicated."

"Ah, I see. Thank you, Professor Park," Yeonjun acknowledged, his tone respectful.

Professor Park nodded. "I don't want to see you or your brother Beomgyu in trouble... for the rest of the week, at least."

Yeonjun's ears perked up at the mention of Beomgyu's name. "Beomgyu? What has he done now?"

"He hasn't?" Professor Park raised an eyebrow, looking up from his papers to meet Yeonjun's gaze. Yeonjun shook his head in response. "That's news to me then."

"Same here, Professor. It's a bit hard to believe," Yeonjun admitted, a hint of skepticism in his voice.

"Yeah, well, anyway, it's good news. Let's hope it stays that way for the rest of the year," Professor Park remarked, his tone tinged with cautious optimism.

"That's kind of hard to imagine, Professor, considering it's Beomgyu," Yeonjun remarked with a wry smile.

Professor Park sighed in agreement. "That's true. It's only the first day."
