It had been about one and a half weeks since the students found out about Nagisa being a murderer, and they were still visibly on edge every time they were around him. Normally, Nagisa would have done something to try and make his students like him again, but he knew they needed some time to get over the revelation. Heck, even some people (mainly Hideo's gang) were still a bit grossed out by the fact he was gay. Homosexuality still wasn't widely excepted in Japan, and many people looked upon that community with distaste. But, that was the society they had been brought up in, so it was hard not to be a little homophobic.
Nagisa was a bit worried though. He had worked hard in the first place to get the students to warm up to him and now he has to go through it all over again. This time, however, he would have a harder job.
To make matters worse, Ren had not turned up to school at any point in the past week. At first, Nagisa thought he was ill. Then, he thought he was letting the news sink in. But, now he was worried. Ren hadn't contacted Hideo at all, or responded to any of his messages which was completely out of character for him. Ren followed Hideo's lead all the time. He was probably the most loyal person you would ever meet. All this made it even more strange that he had virtually disappeared.
That night, Nagisa walked home in a sullen mood. It was evident to everyone he passed that something was wrong, and even morw evident to Karma as soon as he entered their house and dropped his bags in the hall. Karma sat in the kitchen, expecting his lover to join him, but the blueberry didn't even make it that far. The redhead heard something slump to the ground behind him, and when he turned, that thing was revealed to be Nagisa.
The bluenette was kneeling down on the floor in the middle of the hall way, slumped over and staring straight at the floor. A tear leaked out of his eye.
Karma, the loving boyfriend that he is, walked swiftly over to the smaller male, knelt down beside him and wrapped his arms around him.
"Let it out Nagisa. It's ok. You can cry here. Your safe."
Nagisa barely needed encouragement. His face became a waterfall of tears. He held on to his boyfriend tight, bawling his eyes out down his ear, his tears causing Karma's shoulder to become damp. The redhead, however, simply sat there and held Nagisa.
After a shortish period of time, Nagisa stopped crying and snivelled. Karma seized this opportunity to pick the smaller male up and carry him into the lounge area of the house, placing him gently down on a sofa. The redhead took a seat next to Nagisa, who lay his head on the redhead's lap. The bluenette smiled for the first time that day. He felt safe near Karma and was extremely grateful that he was there, to comfort him.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Karma asked.
"I suppose it would be best." Nagisa replied, wiping his eyes with the corner of Karma's shirt. "My class haven't taken the news very well. They seem constantly on edge when they are around me. They don't seem to trust me almost. And then there's the occasional homophobic comment as well."
Nagisa paused as he felt his eyes well with more tears. Karma simply said nothing. Instead, he chose to run his fingers through Nagisa's blue hair. This calmed him down and Nagisa continued explaining his situation.
"Also, Ren has disappeared. Normally I would think it's nothing, but he seems to have completely disappeared. I'm worried about him Karma, I really am."
Karma smiled at this statement.
"That's why I love you Nagisa. You are so compassionate about your friends and your students. I can tell you care about those kids and want what's best for them, just like Korosensei did for us. Tell them that. Don't worry about Ren. I'll focus on him. Just make your class know you care." This reply immediately warmed Nagisa to the core. He could always count on Karma to make him feel better, and it was true. He had stopped crying and his brain had filled with a clarity that had not been present for the past week. He had a plan of action. Tell his class he cared.
Nagisa pivoted his head to look up at Karma and smiled. His smile caused the redhead to smile even more. The two men just looked at each other in silence for a good five minutes, smiling at each other. It was eventually Nagisa who broke the silence.
"Let's get this wet shirt off then." He said as he sat upright and began to unbutton Karma's shirt. The redhead helped and very quickly, the shirt was lying next to them, discarded. Karma grabbed Nagisa by the back of his head and pulled him in, greeting him with a kiss straight on the lips. Their tongues mingled, ferociously exploring each others mouths. They broke apart, panting. Karma seized this moment to rip Nagisa's shirt open, ruining the shirt but hugely increasing the steaminess of the situation.
Nagisa went back in, greeting his partner with another ferocious kiss, this time mounting his partner while still connected. They broke apart once more, panting. This time, Karma began to kiss Nagisa's cheek, slowly migrating his kisses down the bluenette's neck and down onto his shoulders. Karma flipped the smaller male over so that Nagisa lay down on the sofa and Karma was poised above him. Karma migrated his lips further down Nagisa's body, reaching his chest.
Nagisa lay back, allowing Karma to take care of him this time. He held Karma in a weak embrace and let out a small moan.
"I love you Karma." The bluenette said.
He smiled. He was happy. He had a loving boyfriend. A nice life. And a plan to get his relationship with his students back on track.
But this moment was his and Karma's time, and he was happy to keep it that way. Very happy indeed.
