Betty POV

After Mr Reed left me at the bus stop. I started researching the best place to meet people, and there was a lot of options for me so I chose the number 5 of the options and started the journey to the closest supermarket .

The journey was 12 minutes and 43seconds, as I walked through the automatic double doors I saw the cashier by the left, the gave me a very friendly smile I scan his face futures which states happy I walked towards him and gave him a hand shake which he hesitate to take at first and did more Scan, "it's indeed a nice day to be happy." I told him and went further into the building.

it's been two hours of shaking and checking of people online but most are just sad nothing too serious. Then I saw a blond hair girl with green eyes, no smile, no glint in her eyes she was looking down at a piece of paper so I walked towards her but she doesn't seem to stop walking as she got closer to me so I stop but she didn't until she bumped into me and fall landing on her behind, she look up at me with aww "sorry if I made you fall" I said and offer her my hand my hand but she didn't take it immediately "let me help you get up please" I tried again and that seems to work because she gave me her hand I drew her up while scanning her.

"yes I do your online information is adequate, congratulations Cecelia Smith you are my first and new patient" I said with a smile.

Celia POV

"Are you having problem breathing" she asked getting closer to me but I step back.

"no. stop don't come closer who are you" I yelled and that made her stop.

"like I said 4 minutes and 53 second ago I am Betty or if you like AB30 which stands for Android Betty 30" she said. wow she must be on really hard drugs and this is a prank, I look around for any hidden camera but we are alone.

"Android what...... really, great prank but am not falling for it" I said and walk away from her to the cashier I look back and she wasn't following me so I quickly paid and get to my car but before I can start the engine the left side door open and Beckie or Bettina was sitting beside me holding a plastic bag with a shit of paper.

"here you forget the last item on your list" she said while handing me the bag and my list, I must have drop it when I fell. I was to shocked to say anything.

"confusion and shock, why are you confused and shocked" she said in that still weird tone.

"Are you confused about me? Do not fear Mr Reed made me prepared for that. I will need to prove to you that I am a Android and am here to help you" she continued but I was still looking at her

"wait what are you saying, oh fuck" I shouted. I must have taken too much weed

"I'm Android b30 or Betty my master Mr Reed made me to improve human mental health DEPRESSION and you are my first patient, I have 4 months to improve your mental health" Betty said.

"oh yes you are shocked and confuse I will play a video that will help you understand more" she continued after seeing that am still looking at her with my mouth open, she then look away from me and started looking forward, I was about to yell for help before a video started playing on my windshield.

"Hello, my name is Michael Reed" a young man appeared on my windshield, I look at her to ask but her eyes was no longer brown but now blue, fuck this is a projection how is she doing this.

"I will like to congratulate you on being the first patient for project D which I should give a better name but I kinda like D which stands for drowning" he paused for a second "I know you are shocked and think this is a prank but it's not Betty is a real robot and is also a comforter, trust me her hugs are to die for, back to the main reason here, I created her for the purpose of helping people with depression" he paused again I think he is letting me digest it I look at Betty and she is still focus projecting. "she is now at your service for the next 4 months for free. Good luck Betty and I hope you get better patient. Byeeeee " the man finally finished but I just stare at my windshield aww stuck as the video ended and everything went back to normal.

"so your house or mine" she smiled

"my what" i ask, okay maybe am still in disbelief

"yes it is the normal thing humans say when they meet for the first time and get in a vehicle" she said in that tone I now recognize as a emotionless voice but it have a bit of emotion it's really something I can't understand, I snap of of the thought of her voice when I realized what she have just said and it not the part about the vehicle sex comment.

"what? you want to stay at my house" I ask

"yes, that way I will be able to get to know you more" she said like am supposed to know this.

"first of all I just met you and I don't believe your crazy shit about being a robot" I said and try to relax into my seat but still being cautious, she might be a serial killer trying to rob me.

"okay" she said she held her hand straight and in the next second her hand open to show a tube connect with little pipes and wires. I can explain her hand divided or open, something like that, I keep looking at it. God she is really a robot but how, I know how but what in the name..... my thoughts were cut off where she started speaking again.

"it is my sweat" she said softly, like she is trying to ease me into it without me freaking out

"what??."

"am a robot so I don't sweat but am supposed to live with human so I have to look human and human sweat" she said. "so your house?" she asked after a few minutes of silent

I was about to say something very earful to her before I remember my mom, she told me to be back quickly, forgetting about the thing or reboot or something in my car I started my car and speed back home. I ignore her protect to my fast driving I reach home in 7 minutes. I took out the what I have bought and run inside the house.

"you are ruining to fast, you might fall" I hear Betty say from my front door but I was already inside the kitchen.

"am sorry am late" I said to my mom who was standing near the gas with a weapon, maybe a spoon but in her hands a deadly weapon.

"late you are more than late you little.." she said while walking slowly towards me but I never got to find what she was about to say because at that moment but decided to speak up.

"Good morning ma" Betty said softly
which stop my mom from killing me,
which I won't have mind.

"my name is Betty, I am Cecilia's friend am sorry I took her time, we were catching up and lost track of the time, here is the chicken" she said before my mom could alter any word, did she just call me her friend, my mom realized this to and smile brightly, I have need really bring a friend home I don't even have friends.

"her friend, she never told me about you" mom said, taking the plastic bag from Betty.

"And never will" I murmur under my breath but it seems like my mom and Betty heard it because my mom send me her famous dead glare and I gave her an innocent smile.

"what her you trying to make Mrs Smith" Betty asked.

"chicken casserole, and please call me Malia saying Mrs just make me feel old" my mother said taking Betty hand into her own.

"okay I will, can I help you" she said like an angel that she is not.

"oh no, you and Lia should go upstairs and have fun" my mother or the alien who just invaded my mom body said, she always make me help when she is cooking which I hate by the way. God have blessed me.

"no I love cooking I should he...." Betty was about to say something that I will probably regret but I close her mouth before she can take his Blessing from me.

"thanks mom, we have a lot of things to talk about" I said and drag her out of the kitchen towards the stairs before my mother or the invader could speak. I took her to my room and close the door before facing her, she was looking around my room with awww.

"So this is where I will be sleeping for the next four months" she said
"Yes i... you What???" I yelled a little to loud when I fully register her words. But she just gave me an innocent smile 😊
