As we entered the room, Dazai-san walk to (i assume) his desk. Someone spoke from behind me. I turn to look at the person and i almost fell back when i saw on how close his face to mine, my face immediately turn bright red.
He has dark hair and wears a beret
"Oh Ranpo-san, this is Y/N-chan and she's the one that I'll be recommending for Yosano-sensei's other nurse" Atsushi-san said and place a hand on my shoulder
"I'm L/N Y/N, pleased to meet you" I bowed my head
"So, Are you guys dating or something?" Ranpo-san asked and Atsushi-san immediately remove his hand on my shoulder
"We're not dating" Atsushi-san and i said at the same time
"Besides there's someone else" I added
Dazai-san fake coughed and we all turn to look at him. He was smerking like he knows who's that SOMEONE.
"Yeah, Y/N-chan likes SOMEONE ELSE, right Atsushi-kun?~" He said and winked at him
"...Ohh yeah, what Dazai-san meant by SOMEONE, He meant himself" Atsushi-san explained and my eyes widened at his words
"What?! No! I don't like Dazai-san" I said, denying everything that they just said
"You shouldn't have jumped into conclusions Dazai, Now you look like an idiot assuming that this girl likes you" A strict-looking guy said
"Wow, he looks scary" i thought to myself
"Hehe, I like this girl she have standards on her choice of men" Ranpo-san said and patted my head that left me into a blushing mess
"A-anyways, Is Yosano-sensei still busy?" Atsushi-san spoke breaking the awkward silence
"She's still working on Tanizaki's injuries" The strict-looking guy said
"Might as well wait here then" Atsushi-san said and walk up to his table and placed a chair beside him, signaling me to sit there
As we waited patiently, I asked Atsushi-san his co-worker's names and age
"Oh ok, That guy over there who's eating candies right now, that's Ranpo-san" He said
"I meant their full names" I said
"Oh, he's Ranpo Edogawa, Age: 26" He said and i was shock
"26?!" I said maintaining my low voice
"Yeah, why?" He asked
"I-it's just that- i thought he's like 22 or 18 something. That was just way above my expectations" I said still in shock
"I know. That guy over there the one with a glasses he's Kunikida Doppo, Age: 22" He said
"22!? Same age as Dazai-san?!" I said and this time i'm starting to think that I'm in a AU (Alternate Universe) or something
"Yeah, You know what? Why don't we play a little game to pass the time, hm?" He asked
"Ok" I said
"I'll tell you their names and you guess their age, ok?" He said and i agreed
