Chapter 04 - "The Interview"

"Let's go now, Yosano-sensei must be finished with her work" Atsushi-san said.

I nodded and followed him but before i could even stood up to my seat Ranpo-san grabbed my hand.

"Here" He said and handed me a lollipop

"Might as well have that during the interview. Goodluck Y/N-chan" He said and patted my head, I instantly blushed

"He's so cute~"

"Thank you Ranpo-san" I smiled at him and continued following Atsushi-san

"I think you and Ranpo-san, would be good friends" Atsushi-san said

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion

"Well i mean, you guys get along together so well even though you guys just met each other, unlike me when i first enter that room, i can already feel that he doesn't like me at all, like he was just forced to treat me nicely because of President" he explained

"I'm pretty sure he was just on a bad mood at that time when you came that's why he treat you like that, but are you guys ok now?" I asked

"Yeah everything between us is fine, I don't know about Dazai-san though" He said

"Well i kinda get it why Ranpo-san and Dazai-san don't get along often" I said like i know their situation

"What is it then?" Atsushi-san asked

"Because Dazai-san can be irritating sometimes because of his attitude towards other people and specially with girls" I said

"H-how did you know about the girls?!" He said in shock

"Well, Because My best friend also became his TARGET before i get to know him" I said with a irritated voice

"Just thinking about how he flirts with my best friend makes me sick to the bones"

"Oh, I guess he really is a flirt" Atsushi-san said

We stopped by a room and i assumed this is Yosano-sensei's office

"Excuse us, Yosano-sensei" Atsushi-san said as he slowly opened the door

"Oh Atsushi-kun, Are you injured too?" She said turning aroung to see us

"O-oh N-no I'm not injured" He said

"Perhaps your girlfriend is injured?" She asked and pointed at me

"Oh no, We're not dating" I said

"She's here to apply for your other nurse that you told me last week" He said

"Oh right, come here" She said and grabbed a chair beside here

I sat on the chair and she commanded Atsushi-san to wait me outside

"So tell me about yourself" She said and looked at me

"I-uh" I stutter out of nervousness

"Oh is my glasses making me look like a strict woman? My bad" She said and removed her glasses

"N-no i-it's not about your glasses, you look beautiful with them" I shyly said and looked down

"... Why thank you" She said and chuckled

"So now, can you tell me your name?" She asked and smiled at me

"I'm L/N Y/N, Y/A and a graduating student" I said

"Oh my, a graduating student? and Atsushi-kun suggested you to work already?" She said a bit shock

"I-is my age n-not suitable for this job?" I said a tear was about to escape from my eye

"N-no it's not like i don't want you or anything, it's just that you're a graduating student, you should be more focused on your school" She explained as she put her hand on my shoulder

I was about to cry when she said something.

"How about this, I'll accept you to be my assistant and after you graduate you'll be immediately accpeted to be my nurse ok?" She said and smiled at me, My face lit up and i hugged her, to my surprise she hugged me back

"Thank you so much, Yosano-sensei you won't regret choosing me!"

"You're welcome Y/N-chan" she said
