Killua was tied up in the captain's quarters. He could hardly imagine the man's intentions for keeping him here. One could assume the worst.

The captain seemed to be of Latin origin. However, he displayed none of the culture. So, he wasn't raised by such culture. Given the guy's horrid excuse for manners, Killua assumed he wasn't raised at all.

"...So, ya gonna kill me, or what?" Killua asked, annoyed by the silence of the room. Captain was at his desk, no doubt pillaged, looking over some map of sorts.

"What." He answered.

Killua pouted. "Torture?"

"I'm not as sadistic as you may believe." The man stated. "I'm still trying to figure out what exactly to do with you. So shut it, yeah? The more you get on my nerves, the less favorable your treatment will be."

Right, as if the hospitality of you pirates could get any worse. Killua thought bitterly.

"What's that map for, anyways? Plotting your next victims?" Killua assumed.

The captain groaned. "If you're not going to keep your mouth shut, Noko will be overjoyed when I give the order to throw your sorry ass overboard."

"If you were going to kill me, you already would have." Killua challenged him.

"I'm not a fan of killing kids. I like to avoid it. However, despite your annoying demeanor you're not exactly a child. You're, what, sixteen? Seventeen?" The captain asked.

"Twenty." Killua corrected him. Though, he probably should've lied and said sixteen. Or, even younger. Better chance to live.

"Even better." The captain grinned. "I could live with it if you die today, Killua. You're an extra mouth to feed and shelter. And you have no value or practical use to me. Right now, you should be grateful for my mercy."

"Bloody savage." Killua sneered.

"If you think calling me such things will have any effect, you're a fool." The captain stated. "Would you be quiet now? I'm a very busy man."

Killua grumbled, twisting his lips shut. He was beyond boredom, having been tied up on this ship for hours. There was literally nothing he could do to preoccupy himself.

"If you want me to be quiet, good luck. I've got a mental condition or some shit and right now being calm and quiet is worse than any torture you could give me." Killua said. "Honestly I need to do something to expend energy or all this energy is gonna come out verbally cause right now while I'm tied up like this, stuck in this room, the only thing that I can do to entertain myself is annoy you. It could take hours for me to settle down without a proper outlet-"

The captain slammed the palms of his hands against his desk, looking at Killua with a highly irritated glare. Killua swore the guy's eye was twitching from sheer annoyance.

"You are pushing your luck, kid." He stated, voice all tensed by restraining himself. "Do you want to meet the sea floor that badly?"

"Eugh, no thanks. I hate the water." Killua grimaced. "Buuuuut if you untie me I can entertain myself and leave you in peace. What can I do against a crew of pirates anyways? We're out at sea. I'm one person, I'm unarmed and I can't swim."

"...Tying you up in here is more for your safety than ours." The captain said, standing up. He walked over to where Killua sat on the floor, crouching in front of him. "Believe it or not, I'm the most merciful and moral person on this ship. Hate to think what my crew would do to a pretty young boy like you when my back is turned."

"I... I uh..." Killua gulped. Right- Noko was eager to kill him earlier. Who's to say the others aren't the same? The worst this captain has done is ignore him. "I'll... just stay here then. Untied. Please?"
