21 | Small Argument

After picking up Jungsun from school, he immediately run upstairs to go to his room and changed his clothes.

While resting on the couch with your tired body, your phone suddenly rang, you immediately picked it up and answered it.

"Hello?" You put your phone beside your ear without looking at the caller ID.

"Seoyun-ah." You heard a familiar voice through your phone and your eyes widen realizing who it was.

"Park Chouhyeok?" You asked.

"You remembered." He sighed in relief. You smiled through the phone.

Park Chouhyeok is a great friend of Jungkook, your husband. He became super close with you after your wedding, knowing that you're Jungkook's wife. Through this past few years, you have been talking and sharing your thoughts with him like a older brother and you really appreciate him listening to you.

He is like a older brother to you because he listens, appreciate and love you as his friend's wife and because of that you are happy knowing him and having another brother in your life, same as he, he always wanted to have a sister but ended up having a little brother younger than you and Jungkook.

"Of course! How can I forget?" You laughed. "Anyways, It's been so long since the last time we had contact." You said.

"Yeah. I left the country 5 years ago and just got back last week." He said. "I had to go fly to Europe for some business, you know." He added.

"Oh...." That's all you said.

"And.... I didn't even knew that you got pregnant 4 years ago, if no one told me I wouldn't still know up until now." He chuckled and you giggled.

"Yeah, your great friend made me pregnant." You both laughed.

"Ohow.... He did well though." He teased.

"Aish... You both really are the same." You said.

"I want to meet your son, as soon as possible. I'm very excited seeing who did better. Is it you or Jungkook? Hmm...." He teased and laughed.

"Oh come on, we both know it will be Jungkook. Whenever you see him, you will literally say 'it's Jungkook'." You chuckled.

"We'll find out." He said.

"By the way, what are you doing right now?" You asked.

"Busy packing up my clothes and stuff." You furrowed your eyebrows confused.

"Why? You're leaving again?" You asked.

"Yeah, flying to America this time, for business." He sighed. "Didn't Jungkook told you?" You furrowed your brows more when he asked you that.

"About what?" You stand up from your seat.

"Me and Jungkook are flying to America for business partnerships. And some employees are coming with us." He explained. "He haven't told you yet?" He asked.

"He... Never talked anything to me about that." You fisted your one hand in anger. "When are you guys leaving?" You asked trying to calm yourself.

"Oh- I think it's better if he tell you about this. Anyways, I'll have to go now. I'll see you soon, Yunie." He called you by the nickname he made up for you.

You put down your phone and gritted your teeth in anger.

It's already 10 p.m. And your Jungsun has already went to sleep while you are waiting for your husband downstairs in the kitchen.

You were sitting down the chair while caressing your cheeks when the front door opened revealing your husband.

He saw you and immediately greeted you.

"Hi..." He said while walking towards you. You didn't answer him and glared at him angrily.

He placed a peck on your cheeks and hugged you.

"Where's Jungsun?" He asked looking around the house.

"Sleeping." You answered coldly while still glaring at him but he doesn't seem to notice it.

"Don't you have anything to tell me?" You crossed your arms and he looked at you with tired eyes.

"About what? I have nothing to tell you." He sat on the chair beside you while you stand up, he was about to pull you closer to him when you pushed yourself away from him. He looked at you confused.

"Really?" You asked again.

"Yeah, babe, what's wrong? You seem moody." He said.

"Chouhyeok called me." You stare at him deeply.

"Oh, that's great. He just got back from Europe and get back to work earlier." He said.

"He told me he's going to America for business partnerships....." You said.

"Yeah, he is." He nodded.

"With you." He looked at you shock.

"Seoyun-ah-" You cut his words.

"You seem shock, Jungkook." You fisted. "All this time, you are not thinking of telling me about this!" You shouted.

"Seoyun-ah, calm down. Let me explain." He said standing up and stepping close to you.

"Explain what!" You yelled. "You have been keeping a secret to me, Jungkook. H-How could you?!" You run your hand through your hair.

"Look, I am going to tell you about it but I was just waiting for the right timing." He explained.

"There is no right time, Jungkook!" You shouted.

"It's just 2 weeks, Jeon Seoyun." He explained.

"2 weeks?" You asked calmed. "2 freaking weeks outside this fucking country!" You cursed to his face. He brushed his hands through his hair frustrated. "Do you really think, it's gonna be easy?! Just like that?!" You asked him.

"Seoyun, I told you it's for business! How many times do I have to tell you that!" He yelled back.

"Then, what about your son?! What about Jungsun?! What about me?! What about us?!" You asked continuously.

"I'm not going to get as apart, okay?!" He said.

"Then what do you call this?! You're freaking leaving us for that business!" You confessed. "All you're thinking is your work! You don't even have time for us! You don't even realize how much your son waits for you to come home in time but ended up sleeping tired!" You shouted making his expression soften.

"Seoyun-ah, I-I didn't k-know-" You didn't let him finish and cut his sentence.

"Of course you don't know, because all you're thinking is work! Work! And work!" You pushed him back when he was trying to calm you down.
