The Vampire Detective

Chapter 11 | The Chaos

         "Umm , any ideas ?" Jasmine asked .

        "Well, we could stay here and fight , and then die horrible deaths OR we could run away but then get hunted down or Killed while being tortured . Your Pick ?" Chris asked .

   Jasmine just reloaded the gun in response . She said : "If we are dying then , let's go out with a bang ."

    Chris smirked and so did Jasmine .

     They looked at The 3 Powerful Vampires coming at them.

    Jasmine said : "I will take care of the Vampirosaur and Multi-Goth guy . You handle the Hot Chick". 

    Chris nodded and then both of them charged at them.

    Jasmine immediately ducked down as T-Rex tried to hit her with its tail.

   Jasmine grinned and said : "You know , you quite dumb ."

   The Apparently Talking T-rex asked : "Oh and why is that ?"

   "Well, for one your a BIG target , and 2 I can't possibly Miss , right ?" Jasmine replied .

   Simon's T-Rex eyes widened but it was too late , Jasmine shot the T-Rex 5 times , and Simon roared in pain and them transformed back into his vampire self , blood covering his entire body .

   He had passed out .

  Jasmine looked at Chris . The fire lady was throwing fire around and Chris was managing to dodge all of them .

  Suddenly someone hit her shoulder hard and Jasmine flew across the room and hit the concrete wall and nearly getting a concussion .

   Chris yelled for Jasmine worried but the fire lady wasn't letting him get close to her.

    Jasmine was seeing Doubles. She had gotten the wind knocked out of her .

    She then saw that It was Multi-Goth guy .

   Jasmine tried to get up but she stumbled . She was well aware of the blood dripping from her head .

     Jasmine groaned . Anthony grinned and all of the Anthonies began to march towards her.

    Chris was busy fighting Jenn.

   Jenn was getting furious by the second and Chris was worried the entire Warehouse would burn down.

    Jenn threw fire balls at him and one scorched his back making him grunt in pain .

     He looked at Jasmine .She was barely able to stand up . And the multiple Anthony were going towards her .

    Chris reached over to his mind and began to think , of anything , any possible way to save Jasmine .

   "God Damn It !" He screamed frustrated as he couldn't think of anything . He forced multiple scenarios in his head but nothing was working out, but it did trigger something .

   An answer . Forcing the scenarios triggered a possible future in the form of a vision.

   Chris's eyes turned Bright Dark Blue ......

    *CRASH* She screamed in pain as Anthony got to her. BATTERY THROW EXPLODE , BATTERY THROW EXPLODE , BATTERY THROW EXPLODE.

   Chris gasped , the 3 words still stuck on his mind . Battery , Throw , Explode.

   He hadn't processed the fact that he managed to find a specific outcome of his liking but now was not the time.

  He looked around and spotted the battery just as Jenn threw a wall of fire at him . Chris flew up quickly but still felt the intense heat of the flames.

    He went around and grabbed the giant truck battery and a gas cylinder.

   Jenn didn't notice the items and immediately threw another wall of flames , and at the same time Chris threw the cylinder and the battery and ran as fast as he could towards Jasmine.

   Jenn immediately recognized the objects and she tried to disperse the flames .

  But it was too late .

   Chris punched The real Anthony square in the face while running towards Jasmine.

   Their wasn't enough time and he knew it .

   Chris grabbed Jasmine and covered her with his body just as the Gas Cylinder exploded .

   *BOOM*

   There was a huge explosion that exploded the entire warehouse .

   Chris physically felt his back burn and felt it scorch his back bones and flesh . But the pain was worth it . Everything was for Jasmine.

   The explosion sent everyone flying , but Chris never once let go of Jasmine , afraid she will get hurt .

      He was in the air falling towards the ground but he immediately flipped himself so that his already burned back would take the impact . Thankfully Jasmine would be safe . And that's all that mattered for Chris at the moment.

   Chris had a concussion and a severe one , and 3rd and even 4th degree burns .

   But his healing factor would heal it soon , besides it wasn't magical flames but normal flames that burned him.

    Chris passed out just as Jasmine came to her senses and screamed for Chris .

   Jasmine immediately stood up despite a minor concussion , and looked at Chris with a heart broken face , tears were streaming down her eyes.

    Suddenly she heard someone chuckle behind her . It was the fire lady Vamp.

   Jasmine turned around and saw The Goth dude picking up an unconscious Simon .

   Fire Vamp said : "Aww Don't worry you will be joining him soon ."

   Fire lady looked like a explosion hadn't been exploded in her face . She seemed perfectly fine. Most probably thanks to her fire abilities.

  The lady was about to burn Jasmine to ashes when suddenly , Jasmine took Holy Water from her pocket and them sneakily opened the cap threw all of it on the fire Vamp's eyes.

   Jenn screamed as she got temporarily blinded , her eyes burned and she couldn't see anything.

   "You Bitc..."  Jenn began but was cut off when someone swiftly kicked her face and sent her flying towards the rubble.

  It wasn't Chris . It was Angela ? And she had blood on her mouth and cloths. The same Angela they had met a while ago at the hostel.

   "Angela ?" Jasmine muttered in shock .

  "Yes Dear , its me . Come with me if you wanna live ." She said.

   "Or you could grab us with you ?"Jasmine replied .

   "Yeah that works too" Angela replied .

  She grabbed Chris and then Jasmine , and then picked both of them up and Jasmine was shocked by her strength but then again , Angela was A Vampire.

   She put Jasmine and Chris in a truck , and told a guy named 'Ralph' to drive .

  And so they drove off.

   Jasmine asked worriedly with tears in her eyes: "Will he ?"

  "Don't worry sweetie, he will be just fine." Angela replied .

  Jasmine was relieved and then asked : "Where are we going ?"
 Angela replied : "Home ."

   "And that is ?" Jasmine asked curiously .

   Angela replied sweetly : "The Vampire Mafia Darling."
