Chapter 4 3 Times The Fun

Kyra's POV
"Wake up girls." Dad screamed from down stairs.
"We need to go to the doctors and hospital in a small amount of time.
"Me and Kiely are awake but Kim is still asleep." I yelled back.
"Ok. Can you please wake her up?" He screamed back.
"Yup. No problem." I smiled.
I jumped down and went over to Kim.
I bent down so my mouth was next to her ear.
"KIELY DIED! SHE FELL OF THE TOP BUNK AND DIED!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"WHAT?" She said as she rolled onto the floor.
"Kiely swung her head over the top bunk and stared down at Kim.
"What's up?" She laughed.
"Kyra. I...am...going to personally kill you." she said as she grabbed my legs and pulled me down.
After 5 seconds I had her in a body pin and she begging me to let go.
"Dad told me to wake you up and I woke you up the Kyra way." I said as I brushed off my shoulders.
"Whatever." she said as she rolled her eyes.
****on the road****
Dad let us bring the dogs with us because he didn't know if they would pee all over or ruin the furniture. And we still needed crates so we just brought them.
Kiely sat in front as usual and me and Kim were in the back with our dogs in the extra middle seat.
"How much longer until we get to Kim's doctor?" Kiely asked petting her dog like crazy.
"Probably another 5 minutes. And it'll probably take 20 minutes to get the checkup done then we'll be on our way to the hospital." he said smiling the whole time.
"Ok." She said sounding like she was about to cry.
****at the doctors****
"Kimberly Adams. The doctor will see you now." The nurse said.
Kim stood up and gave dad a look sorta saying 'please don't let me go in there alone'.
He turned to me and Kiely.
"I'm gonna go with your sister ok?"
"Ok." We said.
Dad followed the nurse into the room.
"Kiely?"
"Yes?"
"Why are you so nervous about getting your knee drained."
"Cause they have to stick like 2 needles in my knee!" She practically screamed.
"Kiely. You got surgery on your knee and you can still walk and move. This isn't gonna kill you."
"How do you not freak out when you get shots?" She said smiling.
"I honestly don't know. I just know it'll only hurt for like a minute at most and that at it." I said thinking of how much I sound like dad when I was 3 and scared of needles.
"I sound like a 5 year old don't I?" She laughed.
"Just a little bit I said smiling."
****at hospital****
At the hospital we shared a room because we were related.
I had an IV in my arm and a needle in my hand.
Kiely was getting prepped to get her knee drained. They taped her lower leg to a pillow and wiped her knee.
"Can Kyra come over her and talk to me?" She asked the doctor.
"Of course."
The doctors got me up and and brought my IV stand with me.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Hi." She said.
She looked so scared.
She has always had this special connection with Kim but the past week or so we've really bonded. I really like it.
They put the 2 needles in Kiely's knee and the whole time I was making the weirdest faces and she laughed the whole time. I know it sounds like I was her dad or something trying to make her smile but that's how we act to each other. Kim's like my mom and Kiely's like my dad.
That's just how we are.
