Chapter 10 Out of All the Fish in the Sea

Me and Kiely just stared at Kim for a while until she said something.
"What! Your acting like I just told you I committed murder or something!"
"You just committed murder to my heart." Kiely said putting her hands over her heart.
"Woah Ki. To far. To far." I said shaking my head.
"I not that good at comebacks. K." she said whispering to me.
"What. I think that the gifts make up for the birthdays missed. Not what she did to Kyra." Kim said in a very defensive way.
"You know what? I don't even care anymore of what she did to me. You see that I won't even say her name cause when I do, I cry. And I don't know why my own sister would say that getting a few gifts would make up for birthdays missed. What about the party. And the waking up to her kissing us all saying happy birthday and giving us endless hugs. Or the breakfast she gives us with a huge smile on her face." I said with tears in my eyes.
I looked at Kim and she looked at me with a blank look.
"You didn't have to be so harsh." she said with a scowl.
I got up and ran out of the room.
"Kyra wait!" Kiely screamed after me.
I ran outside and didn't stop.
I stared at the ground and kept running.
I bumped into someone and fell down.
"Shoot! I'm so sorry." I said standing up wiping my face.
"Kyra?" A boys voice said.
Oh my god
It's Landon.
"What's the matter." he said helping me the rest of the way up.
"Family issues." I said turning around to see Kiely with a smirk on her face.
"I see you have someone to talk to. I'll just uh...go back to the cabin and talk to Kim." She said backing up with her thumbs moitoning towards the cabin.
Landon grabbed my hand and walked me to the beach.
I told him about my mom coming to find me and the presents and everything about what Kim said.
"Wow. That's as much drama that happens in one month." he chuckled.
"Yeah. My family is pretty exciting." I said looking at him.
He didn't have a smile on his face anymore it was more of a smirk mixed with a serious face.
He leaned towards me and just stared at me.
"Well you two look comfortable." Kiely chuckled.
I turned around and gave her an evil look ask if to say 'just wait til we're all alone where no one can hear you scream Kiely Ann'.
"Well that moment is ruined." Landon chuckled.
"Sorry about my annoying sister." I laughed.
"Hey Kiely. I think my friend is over there." Landon said pointing behind her.
"Really." she said as she turned around.
Landon grabbed my cheek and kissed me. It was fast enough so Kiely didn't see.
"You guys are gross!" Kiely screamed.
"Yeah like I haven't seen you kiss a guy."
"Just come on." she said grabbing my arm.
I turned around and mouthed 'thank you'
This was the best summer ever and nothing could ruin it.
Except for my mom and Kim.
