Chapter 6: Feeling Separated

The next week of school on Monday, Naomi is feeling happy and Lucas asked, "Is Ricardo going to be joining us?" Audrey said, "I'm sure he will." Sabrina asked, "Naomi, are feeling alright?" Naomi said, "Yes." Jack asked, "What's going on?" Naomi said, "Ricardo and I took the pregnancy test. The test came out positive." Sabrina said, "Aww." Lucas said, "I'm really happy for you guys." Audrey asked, "Will Ricardo ever come over here?" Naomi said, "He will and he has to protect me from them." Jack said, "We have to let Ricardo do his business before he'll be over to us." Michelle said, "Okay, I think we are seeing this." Max asked, "Why is she happy?" Ricardo said, "Naomi is just being herself." Roger said, "She can't because you know what she did to us." Ricardo said, "Fuck you." Cassie said, "Ricky, she did this to us and I know that we've been hurt by her." Ricardo asked, "What? Do you have any damn proof for what she did to us?" Mikayla said, "Yeah we do." Ricardo said, "I don't believe you guys at all and I don't want you guys to talk about her." Olivia said, "You've been acting way too -" Ricardo said, "Shut the fuck up Olivia and quit saying that I'm acting too different." Michelle said, "Oh funny. You never answered my text messages like you promised and I think Naomi did this to you." Ricardo said, "No she didn't and if you ever mess with her, your ass is going to be in trouble." Roger said, "You have no right to say this to us." Mr. Preston came out of his office and he walks over to them. Mr. Preston said, "He does and go to my office right now." Chris said, "Fuck." Mr. Preston said, "Watch your mouth." Mr. Preston took the crew to the office and Naomi and the gang looks at Ricardo. Ricardo walks over to Naomi and said, "Hey guys." Audrey said, "Hey Ricardo." Ricardo said, "Baby boo, we better get to class and let's go." Naomi said, "Okay." Ricardo and Naomi are walking to class together. The crew watched them and they were so happy for them. Everyone went to class and Ricardo is looking at Naomi's story. Ricardo said, "You can read me your story and I can fall asleep." Naomi said, "Ricardo, I don't know why you are crazy." Ricardo said, "Because of your story." Naomi said, "You dork." Mrs. Marquez said, "Ricardo, you need a better grade." Ricardo said, "It's getting me nowhere and I don't know how I did that wrong." Naomi said, "Ricardo, I think this was supposed to be double spaced." Mrs. Marquez said, "Ricardo, I told you to use double spaced." Ricardo said, "Oh darn. I forget that it was supposed to double spaced." Naomi said, "You dork." Ricardo playfully growls at Naomi and Naomi smiles. Cassie said, "Just shut up." Naomi grabbed her phone and went on CapCut. She played her clip and Ricardo starts laughing. Cassie said, "That's so pathetic." Ricardo stops laughing and said, "It's not." Naomi said, "Valley girl." Cassie asked, "Excuse me? What did you just call me?" Naomi said, "I call you a valley girl because you act like one and you're not that smart for that." Ricardo said, "Oh crap." Cassie said, "You're finally talking more and you are so not going to be voted for homecoming prom queen." Naomi said, "I wasn't expecting that and I don't want you to say I did everything to hurt you because there's no evidence to prove anything." Ricardo said, "I told you so and you've been fooled. This is why you don't have that much time to win." Cassie asked, "Why are you helping Naomi?" Ricardo said, "She's my best friend and you're just jealous of her." Cassie said, "I don't want you to hang out with Naomi." Ricardo said, "I can hang with her whatever I want." Naomi is feeling sleepy and Ricardo looks at Naomi. Ricardo said, "Naomi, you feeling alright." Naomi said, "I feel sleepy all the sudden." Ricardo said, "This is not going so well and you need to see a doctor for that." Naomi said, "I'm good." Mrs. Marquez said, "Naomi, you don't look too good." Ricardo said, "I better take you home." Naomi said, "No I'm fine." Ricardo said, "You're not." Ricardo got out of his chair and Naomi fell asleep. Ricardo put all of Naomi's stuff in her bag and he zips it up. He picked Naomi up and he felt her head. Ricardo said, "Naomi is burning up." Mrs. Marquez said, "Take her to the hospital immediately." Ricardo said, "I better take her." Ricardo carries Naomi and he rushed out of the school. He opens the door he put Naomi in the back. Ricardo shuts the door and he came over to the driver's side. He opens the door and he got in. Ricardo starts the car as he backs up and he starts driving away. Ricardo felt like something is wrong with Naomi and he doesn't know what's causing it to happen. Ricardo parks his car in the parking lot and he stops the car. Ricardo got out of the car and grabs the keys. He shuts the door and he ran over to the passenger side. Ricardo opens the door from the back and grabbed Naomi. He shuts the door and carries her. Ricardo starts running and he went inside of the hospital. Ricardo said, "Help." Selena said, "Naomi." Ricardo said, "Mom, help me and Naomi is burning up." Selena said, "Let's take her to Room 12." Ricardo and Selena took Naomi to Room 12. Ricardo lay Naomi down and he's worry about their baby. Selena said, "She needs to well rest and be there for her." Ricardo said, "We're not going to see each other." Selena said, "Sweetie, you have to and you don't have a choice." Ricardo said, "We both agree and I have to protect her." Selena said, "Ricky, don't let us tell Mr. Preston for what you're doing to Naomi." Ricardo said, "Mom, I'm not doing anything wrong and I have been taking care of Naomi. She's been doing great and I got to be in her live stream." Selena said, "I'm so proud of you, sweetie and I want you to be okay." Ricardo said, "I will Mom and we both can't wait to tell you and Dad the big news." Selena said, "We'll be looking forward for what it is and you have got to break up with Michelle before she does anything else to Naomi." Ricardo said, "I promise Mom that I will." Selena said, "I hope so sweetie and we'll discuss more to the story some other time." Ricardo said, "Okay." Naomi tries to open her eyes and said, "Ricky." Ricardo said, "Naomi, it's okay baby girl." Naomi asked, "Love, where are you?" Ricardo said, "Baby girl, I'm right here." Naomi starts to scream and she woke up from her nightmare. Ricardo hugs Naomi and Naomi starts to cry. Selena said, "Naomi, it's going to be okay and just lay down." Ricardo said, "It's okay baby." Ricardo let go of Naomi and lays her down. Naomi said, "Baby, please don't leave me." Ricardo said, "Babe, I have to and I can't let you to get hurt." Naomi said, "Please stay with me." Ricardo said, "You have to protect yourself from my friends and I will stay with you when everything is over." Naomi is feeling sleepy and upset. Ricardo said, "Honey pie, I will be back for you and I promise you." Ricardo hugs Naomi and he kiss her forehead as he pulls away. Selena couldn't believe it and Ricardo walks out of the room. Naomi is in tears and she wants Ricardo so much. She lay over to the left and still in tears. Ricardo couldn't let Naomi to get hurt but he felt terrible for not being there for the mother of their baby.
