Chapter 2: Being Too Shy

As they went to class, Ricardo sat right next to Naomi and Naomi felt uneasy about everything went from yesterday. Ricardo said, "Naomi, I was wondering if you -" Mrs. Marquez said, "Ricardo, please no talking." Ricardo said, "Sorry." Naomi is feeling sleepy and Ricardo is working on his project. Naomi shyly, "Mrs. Marquez." Mrs. Marquez said, "Yes sweetheart." Naomi asked, "Can I please go to the bathroom?" Mrs. Marquez said, "Of course you can." Naomi got up and she walks out of the classroom. Ricardo is trying to figure out what's going on with Naomi. Ricardo said, "Mrs. Marquez." Mrs. Marquez said, "Yes." Ricardo asked, "Can I please go to the bathroom?" Mrs. Marquez said, "Of course and please, don't ever pull up something like you did to sweet Naomi." Ricardo said, "I swear to God that I would never do that again under the school's bottom line of the behavior that regards anymore of the behavior that was given to Naomi by acting stupid, foolish, and childish towards her." Mrs. Marquez said, "You better keep that promise and thank you for the speech." Ricardo said, "You're welcome." Mrs. Marquez said said, "You may go." Ricardo said, "Thank you." Ricardo got up and walks out of the classroom. Naomi went over to Ricardo's locker and put another love note. She walks off and Ricardo is looking for Naomi. Naomi went to detention and she shut the door. She really wanted to date Ricardo so bad and she decided to lay down. Ricardo said, "Naomi." Ricardo saw another note and he grabbed the note. He knew it's from the secret admirer and he's still wanted to know who it is. Naomi fell asleep and she didn't want to be seen. Ricardo put the love note in his pocket and he went looking for Naomi. Naomi kept on thinking about her parents and Ricardo is still looking for Naomi until he noticed that the door closed. Ricardo walks to detention and he saw Naomi sleeping on the floor. Ricardo opens the door and he walks over to Naomi. He picked Naomi up and he carried her to the lounge. Ricardo lay her down and he walks over to the door. He shuts the door and walks over to Naomi. Ricardo sat down on the floor and he felt like Naomi is hiding something. He fell asleep too and the hours passed, Ricardo woke up. Ricardo got up and he has to get ready for the basketball game with his teammates. He walks out and Naomi woke up and Jack came in. Naomi said, "Hey sweetie." Audrey and the gang came in. Audrey said, "Ricardo's basketball game is getting ready to start." Naomi said, "We can go behind the bleachers." Lucas said, "Oh yeah." Sabrina said, "Let's go." The gang walks out of detention and went to the gym. They went behind the bleachers to watch Ricardo and the cheerleaders are performing. Sabrina said, "Oh God. That preppy bitch thinks she's all that and decided to shake her pom poms to be a show off." Audrey said, "Ricardo will lose her until he will be yours." Naomi said, "Maybe one day." Ricardo and his teammates came in to the gym. Jack said, "I don't believe anyone tell me that he would look like Mike O'Donnell." Lucas said, "Awe shit." Audrey said, "Talk about their PDA." The gang saw Ricardo and Michelle with their PDA and they kneeled down. Sabrina said, "Eww." Lucas said, "I don't think no one noticed but I saw Michelle the other day." Naomi said, "You did." Lucas said, "Yeah and apparently, Michelle cheated on Ricardo for Thor." Audrey said, "He's in a relationship with Alieen." Sabrina said, "No wonder why Michelle is a slut." Naomi said, "I really do hope Ricardo likes me and he's been acting strange since this morning." Jack said, "Surprisingly, he lost his virginity and so did Michelle." Lucas said, "I bet he probably wanted to have kids but maybe Michelle didn't get knocked up or did she." Audrey said, "I found her pregnancy test this morning and she got pregnant by Thor." Naomi said, "We'll show them proof at the talent show." Lucas said, "Taken care of and Ricardo will understand all of this soon." As the four games were over, everyone were walking out of the gym and Ricardo put his arm around Michelle. Sabrina said, "Oh gross." Lucas said, "Hell yeah." The gang went back to detention room and Jack put his arm Naomi. Jack said, "I think we would take our relationship another level." Naomi said, "I don't know and I don't really know anymore." Jack said, "Baby, you are tired and you need to stop waking up for two hours." Naomi said, "I just don't know what to do anymore." Jack said, "You need help." Sabrina said, "We really want you to get some help and rest." Naomi said, "I really can't and I don't know how to handle everything." Audrey said, "We'll help you." Ricardo came in to detention and asked, "Is anything alright in here?" Lucas asked, "What the hell do you want?" Ricardo said, "I just came here to know if anything is okay and I think we can bring something good." Sabrina said, "No Ricardo, you have to quit." Michelle and the crew came in to start. Ricardo said, "Well I thought about keeping you guys company." Chris said, "It's not my fault that I broke your girlfriend's heart years ago." Jack said, "A psychopath is what you are." Roger said, "You piece of shit, you don't know anything about Chris and you can't win over us." Audrey said, "We'll see about that." Lucas said, "C'mon guys, let's get the hell out of here." Michelle said, "Sit down." Audrey said, "Nope." Sabrina said, "I bet you exposed yourself around the school." Michelle said, "I don't exposed myself and I want attention that's all." Jack said, "Oh really because maybe you wouldn't stay with a guy who always love you after all of these years." Ricardo said, "Shut the fuck up Jack and that's real smart of you for acting like a jackass." Lucas said, "Look who's talking. You don't see a one girl next door while you have a liar." Ricardo said, "Get the hell out of here." Sabrina said, "With pleasure." The gang walks out of the detention as the hours passed, it was nighttime and Ricardo is practicing soccer for his next game. Naomi is sitting down behind the bleachers and she watches him. She got up and Ricardo looked whoever is over by the bleachers. He spotted Naomi walking away and he went after her. Naomi ran away and Ricardo yelled, "HEY! HEY!" Ricardo got there too late and Naomi was already gone back to her house. The next day at school and the whole school went to the gym for getting their tickets for the school's homecoming dance. Audrey said, "You will be in the cutest dress." Naomi said, "I wish I could dress up in a prettiest dress that I saw the other day." Lucas said, "I bet Michelle already bought the dress and she hoards all of the dresses that she bought but she never sells them." Nicole said, "Hey guys, here's your tickets." Lucas asked, "What about Naomi? Did you just ran out of tickets on purpose because of those assholes?" Nicole said, "I'm sorry but we can't give a ticket to Naomi." Jack asked, "What did she ever do to you?" Sabrina said, "She did nothing to you." Mr. Preston came over and said, "Naomi, you can come to the school's homecoming dance and you can go with your friends." Ricardo and his crew were shocked. Chris asked, "How can she?" Mikayla asked, "How the hell she gets to be so lucky?" Michelle said, "She's trying to ruined my spotlight." Cassie said, "She's trying to gained up on us." Roger said, "It's because that the teachers, principal, assistant principal, vice principal, and counselors loves her instead of us." Ricardo said, "She thinks that she can win for anything." Michelle said, "No worries babe, we'll be over there for something." Ricardo said, "Alright babe." Michelle and the crew went over for a talk. Ricardo walks over to the gang and Naomi turns around. Naomi said, "Ricardo, I found your library book." Ricardo asked, "Did you?" Naomi said, "Yeah." Naomi unzip her backpack and she grabbed Ricardo's library book. She shakily handed to Ricardo and Ricardo grabbed his library book. Naomi zips her backpack and Ricardo said, "Thanks Naomi." Naomi shyly, "You're welcome." Ricardo asked, "How did you find my library book?" Naomi said, "I have to get going." Naomi starts backing up and Ricardo starts walking towards her. Ricardo said, "Naomi, I just wanted to know how did you find my library book and I promise that I won't get mad." Naomi said, "That's funny because I -" Naomi accidentally knocked things over and she was so scared. All of the decorations were falling and Naomi ran out of the gym after what she did. Jack said, "Poor Naomi." Audrey said, "I hope she's okay." Mr. Preston said, "I hope so too and we'll have it tomorrow." Lucas said, "Finally." Ricardo went after Naomi and Naomi locked the girls bathroom. Naomi felt scared in her life and Ricardo saw the girls bathroom door closed. Ricardo knocked on the door and Naomi opened up the window. Ricardo said, "Naomi, please open the door and I just want to talk." Naomi climbs out of the window and she made it. She starts running and Ricardo finally burst in to the girls bathroom. He noticed that Naomi is not there and he was looking for Naomi. Ricardo heard someone running and Naomi ran to the front. Ricardo turns towards the front door and he saw Naomi running. He starts running after Naomi and Naomi ran to her house. Ricardo saw Naomi going to her house and he ran to her house. Naomi locks the door and she sat down on the couch. She starts crying because she's so scared and Ricardo starts knocking on the door. Ricardo starts running to the backyard and he opens the backdoor. He heard Naomi crying in the living room and he came over to the couch. Ricardo sat down right next to Naomi and said, "Naomi, I'm not mad at you and I was just asking how did you find my library book." Naomi sobs, "I found it on the floor when you drop it and I was going to give it back yesterday but you brought your friends over." Ricardo said, "Maybe that was too much for bringing them and I'm sorry about that. I know that you didn't mean to knocked things over and I'm sure it was an accident." Naomi wipes her tears and sobs, "I'm just the biggest joke as everyone else says I am and it's not my fault that I have people who loves me." Ricardo said, "Naomi, you know that you always win for everything that you do and we get the blame." Naomi sobs, "I haven't done anything to you and I didn't spill apple juice on you. It was your girlfriend." Ricardo said, "I thought it was you." Naomi said, "No it wasn't." Ricardo said, "Naomi, I know that this may sounds funny but I don't want you to tell Michelle nor my other friends about this." Naomi said, "I won't." Ricardo said, "I heard about your past with Chris and I didn't think he would do anything to hurt you." Naomi said, "Yeah well, he's not my type." Ricardo said, "You want me to help you around the house." Naomi said, "No I'm good." Ricardo said, "I want you to join me at the talent show on Monday." Naomi asked, "But what will Michelle say?" Ricardo said, "Just don't worry about her and you'll be fine." Naomi said, "You're really -" Ricardo said, "Well, I have to go to my game and I'll come by some other time." Naomi said, "Yeah." Ricardo unlocked the door and he opens the door. He walks out and he shut the door. Naomi felt a heartache and she knew that she's in love with Ricardo. Later that night, Naomi went to Ricardo's soccer game and she watches him play. Jack said, "Hey baby girl." Naomi said, "I feel like Ricardo really likes me." Audrey said, "Yes." Sabrina said, "I don't ever think that Michelle is going to win." Lucas said, "Not for long because we have everything all set for the talent show on Monday." Jack said, "It's time for all of us to win once and for all." Naomi said, "We will never lose and I think we can have everyone to watch our next video to reveal something for them." Lucas said, "Ricardo doesn't know that it's you." Naomi said, "That's true and Mr. Issac told me to have that identity because he heard about the whole drama." Audrey said, "You deserve that name and no one will notice that it's you." Naomi said, "Exactly."
