“You really want me to film this?” Sydney asked, standing in front of a camera with a dubious look, staring at Kurt, Tina and Brittany all in black unitards. The boy had called her up to ask for a favor and she decided she might as well help, but now she was slightly confused.
“Yeah, I want to do the Single Ladies dance,” Kurt replied as if it was obvious, Tina nodded along behind him, but Brittany was more fixated on pinging her unitard against her chest.
“Right, of course,” Sydney sighed sarcastically, crouching down to press record. “Okay, go.”
As the dance started, Sydney leant back on Kurt’s couch, eating pretzels out of a bowl, enjoying the show and smiling. She had to be honest, they had obviously practiced a lot because they were in sync and hitting each beat perfectly.
However, it all came to a stop as Burt, Kurt’s father, walked down into the basement / Kurt’s bedroom to turn down the music. Widening her eyes, she stopped the recording, joining the other three as they turned around when the music stopped.
“Dad…” Kurt let out a nervous laugh, eyes widening as well when he saw his dad. “You’re home early.”
“Deadliest Catch is on,” he said, eyeing the unitard his son had on and stepping closer. “What are you wearing?”
