“Mr. Shuester!” Rachel called to the teacher, rolling a suitcase behind her, in the parking lot of McKinley, the day starting off lively.
“Yeah?”
“I went to the library,” the girl said energetically, falling into step with the teacher. “And I got some sheet music, and I wanted to run some songs by you that feature me heavily on lead vocal.”
Mr. Shue chuckled. “Thanks, Rach. But I already got one picked out.”
Before she could even start to complain, the Hudson twins appeared either side of her, Finn taking her suitcase and Sydney wrapping an arm around the girl’s shoulder.
“Let us help you with that,” the boy said, making the brunette blush as she looked between the two Hudsons.
“Thanks, you two,” she smiled. “You’re both so chivalrous.”
“Thanks,” Finn said, confused. “That’s a good thing, right?”
“Yes, it is,” Sydney rolled her eyes. “And we appreciate the compliment, but right now I’ve got to go help someone.”
