To the struggle against terrorism, or Tears of grief, is a 10-story statue representing a 12 meters teardrop suspended in the fissure of a 32 bronze rectangular tower exposed in Bayonne, New Jersey. The ceremonial groundbreaking of the memorial took place the sixteenth of September 2005, and it was dedicated the eleventh of September 2006. On the sides of the monument are the names of the victims of the incident.
The cost of the statue is said to be about 12 million dollars.
