the rest of the night passed by in a blur for hyejin.
after talking to youngmin for awhile and just getting to know each other, they had to split ways for the night. now hyejin was sprawled out in bed staring up at her ceiling, it was the next day and she didn't have work. so, she simply laid in bed for a few hours on her phone before finally deciding to do something with her life. getting up with a small groan, she stretched out before going to the bathroom to take a shower.

'i should go grocery shopping... maybe pick up some snacks' nodding to herself, hyejin quickly finished up her shower and got dressed before heading out to the nearest grocery store, which was only about a five minute walk from her place. humming softly to herself as she walked into the store, hyejin grabbed a basket before booking it to the snack isle. once there she looked around for awhile just debating on what snacks she should get. in the end she decided on a bag of chips and a box of lindor chocolates before finally going to get what she actually needed, which was just some bread, ramen, eggs and a few nessesaties that she planned to get last. once she grabbed all the food items -she ended up picking up a small cheesecake from the bakery- she made her way over to the hygeine isle in oder to get more toohtpaste, deodorant and maybe a new pack of toothbrushes. pausing at the entrance of the isle, her eyes widened upon seeing familiar blonde hair and quickly turned around after taking a sneaky picture. sending the picture to the groupchat she frantically typed:

hyejin: omg he's here!
hyejin: bench boy is here!

yuna: which one?

hyejin: the blonde

seolhyun: thats great but who's the guy next to him

hyejin: no clue
hyejin: probably a friend

hyejin was pulled from her text conversation as she felt a tap on her shoulder, turning around her eyes widened slightly as she was met with a smiling youngmin. "hyejin? i thought that was you" his deep voice almost melted her on the spot but she was somehow able to stay calm as she nodded with a smile of her own "crazy seeing you here-" noticing a slightly less attractive god standing right next to him, hyejin tilted her head "did you come with your friend?" her question seemed to catch youngmin off guard as he panicked and slightly stood in front of his friend in an attempt to cover him.

"yes uhm this is wonhyuk" nodding youngmin smiled as he stayed in front of wonhyuk so hyejin wouldn't be able to see him. wonhyuk rolled his eyes and moved youngmin away before smiling and shaking hyejin's hand "you must be hyejin, romin's told me a lot about you" his voice was soft and came out sort of flirty but hyejin paid no mind as a question popped up in her head "romin?"
said man panicked as he quickly pushed wonhyuk back, laughing nervously he nodded "yeah it's one of my nicknames" shooting wonhyuk a glare he continued "because we're trainees, i think i might make it my stage name though when i debut" looking back at hyejin he nervously awaited her answer.
"oh that's cool! romin suits you" smiling hyejin noticed the brand of toothpaste she used behind romin, since his back was towards the shelves. so, without thinking much about it she leaned in and grabbed it not noticing how close they were. pulling away she placed the toothpaste in her basket before looking back up to youngmin only to tilt her head as she saw how red his face was. frowning hyejin reached out her hand and placed it onto his forehead as she spoke "your so red. are you coming down with something? hmn... you feel a little warm but not bad" pulling her hand away she started to dig through her purse "i have some medicine in my bag if you'd like?" she offered though was stopped by wonhyuk as he shot romin a knowing smirk "thank you but he should be fine, we were just grabbing some more toothpaste for the dorms" he quickly informed, holding up his basket that had about eight things of toothpaste as proof before elbowing youngmin's side.

"wow that's a lot of toothpaste...." shaking her head she smiled softly "right well i should get the rest of my stuff, it was nice meeting you wonhyuk" walking a little ways ahead she grabbed a pack of toothbrushes before turning back to the two "and it was nice seeing you again youngmin, you have my number" winking she walked ahead and grabbed deodorant before heading towards the self-checkout.

youngmin blinked a few times as he watched hyejin's retreating figure with a pout, wonhyuk playfully rolled his eyes as he looked down at his basket "what are you doing? your gonna lose her" looking to wonhyuk confused youngmin tilted his head "go help her with her stuff" wonhyuk continued as he gently pushed youngmin. seeming to realize what wonhyuk was saying, youngmin quickly ran after hyejin making it to her just as she finished paying. picking up the bag that had all her groceries he smiled happily and hyejin swore if he had a tail it'd be wagging.

"if you don't mind... i'm free right now so i can walk you home" he offered nervously, unsure if he was overstepping his boundries. blushing hyejin physically perked up as she nodded "of course! i'm glad i can finally hangout with you during the day" laughing softly she walked out side by side with youngmin.
