You returned to the Angels Share's bar counter, holding a glass and the towel you were drying it with, all the patrons had left for the evening, except the one playing the piano out of your sight around the corner. Master Diluc had also randomly disappeared, so you assumed he had left you too close up the tavern today. Putting down the glass onto the counter, next to the vase of dying dandelion clocks, you needed to get rid of those.... you hopped over it, the metal in your heels clicking as you landed on the wood.

Hastily walking towards the piano, in order to ask the customer to leave for the evening, you found that it was in fact, not a customer, but Master Diluc. You leant silently against one of the tables and watched him play the instrument at a distance. He had removed the band from his hair, which now flowed like silk over his shoulders and down his back, and had hung his coat over the table closest to him. He was gorgeous, even when you couldn't see his face. He was playing at a fast tempo yet seemed not to rush at all, his hands in fact, moved slowly over each key, softly playing each note. You were aware he could play, however, it was extremely uncommon to hear it, so you felt your heart jump at being able to hear this firsthand.

[Diluc]
Of course, I had noticed (reader), the woman had been tapping her finger on the table behind me since I heard her heels walk over in a hurry. Now, she was watching me play this instrument, for which I held a deep love for its music, but, she doesn't seem to want to stop me from playing. She knows my tavern closes by midnight, yet there she has been sitting for over ten minutes. Such a peculiar person, and for her I possess a love much more dear than any music.

Master Diluc paused his playing and reached to his belt, where he y strapped his vision and put it to rest on the lid of the piano, he raised his hands over the keys of the piano, and his song continued, yet this time, it was his vision, his dreams and aspirations playing the music instead of him. He turned around to face you, smiling, and walked over:

"Can you dance?"

His rough hand was gently entwined with yours, the other holding your waist. He held you with confidence and a smile, yet with such a gentle hold. You were both from the founding nobility of Mondstadt, him, the Ragnvindr's, and you, the Gunhildr's, therefore, of course you could both dance. However from every event, ball or dance you had attended, every person you had danced with, you had never been given the chance to dance with Diluc Ragnvindr, a shame, since you had longed for his hand to dance since, well, since you met. And here you both were now, him, expertly moving to the music of the piano, and you following in suit. It was clear he was happy from the smile on his face. And, was he blushing when he looked down to you? You both looked into each other's eyes, ah, so this is love, and your lips came together, it was passionate and loving, Diluc kept his hold on your waist until it was over, this was it. You were in love.

You ended up staying above the Tavern with Diluc until the morning, his bed was warm when you woke up, oh and you noticed he had dandelions on his nightstand too, these ones were fully dead though, every white seed was gone, huh? Wait where is Diluc anyway? Oh.....wait,

now you understand, of course. Your bed was warm when you woke up, that was nice. ***************************************Picture on cover and chapter cover provided by my girlfriend Beka, (Loves ya darling <3)
