Nerves of Panthers [Kaiju Paradise]

•3'8• (Flashback) A dream to remember.

'Hey, Xander.. Wake up!'

'Xander, Wake up!'





'Are you not even listening? WAKE UP!'

'AH! I-I am! I.. Wh... W-What is it?'
Xander would shut his eyes open before waking up, Looking around before blinking, glaring at the person who seemed to disturb his lazy slumber on Xander's table inside his room.

The person he was looking at is one of his Assistant for upcoming projects. The same long-hair lady before. Which suddenly, She smiles at him as she giggled after few seconds.
'Being lazy, Or are you just too tired, Sir?'

'Its.. Nothing.. Just tired and all... What brings you here anyway? Do you have progress on making preparations?'
He slowly moved his body, facing at her while holding unto his own pages that seemed about the White Crystal studies and research.

'Yep. Its almost near completion. We need at least... 1 or 2 days and we'll be ready to give it a shot. We just need to prepare for its perfect temperature so it doesn't emit too much Radiation sickness from the Crystal.'
She said it as she checks on her pages, listing about 12 well-studied papers.

'Good. Then we should double check on our crew about their own progress.'
Standing up from the desk, He fixed his outfit before taking his own pages of studies, Walking out from the room with her, then the both started walking towards their assigned Project room.


They would pass nearby Cafeterias and other workers. All working in the Lab so the company can sell a rather Good Amount of... Millions of dollars for Latex Science.
Getting few Hi's and there, Xander made few successful projects, even during his young age. While his Assistant: Annitah, Helped him along for a few as he only trusts her than the new Assisants for this Big project.

'... So, Xander.. How's life? Since we were working in this.. Deep underground, huge lab for months now.. How do you feel about it?'
Annitah spoke as she blinked, huffing out a breath from walking as the path is mostly long due HOW BIG THE LAB IS.

'I'm doing alright so far.. Besides of my shitty life as Kindergartener before.. But oh well. This job made me feel amazing. I don't care if I'm a Nerd but this science about Latex creatures is just- SO AMAZING.'
He smiled as he said it final, Looking at her as he's curious about hers.
'What about yours? Are you having fun on this Science of ours?'

She thought for some, humming, then nodding after some seconds of walking.
'Of course... It was also fun working with you, Mister Xander. I'm sure that we can make a good...
"Partners" of Science.'
She also smiled with a smug, Possibly just teasing him as she's pretty much close to him as a good friend.

'... Uhm.. Okay.. Erm- Lets just move on.'
Obliviously, That hit him hard as he stummered a bit before walking on, focusing on the path as she let out cute giggles... Then the both arrived at their own small assigned lab.

Entering, There would be few other of 2 same individuals. The Nerd that focused on keeping the Crystal on normal shape and the Short hair guy that prepares for the upcoming project with test notes from Xander.
(I kinda forgot about their correct stuff since first chapter.. but oh well.)


"Oh cr- Garen, The Head Researcher is here!"
The Nerd said as he stood up, fixing his glasses and smiling. Having normal hair of average.

"Wh- X-Xander! We thought you're sleeping lately, S-So we just continued our own studies without your guidance!"
Short hair dude assured the situation. Smiling with the Nerd.

The both weren't important as they're like Half-Brothers or something. Standing close to each other while smiling at Xander.

'Huh... Rather interesting... You three should have been lazy as I expected...
Turns out, You guys are worth of something.'

The Annitah and two guys smiled. Happy that Xander found them rather not lazy to not work without him.
But now with him, He can continue guiding them towards the main goal...

Contacting and researching more about the White Crystal.

'... So.. Any news about more of studies for White Crystal?'
He walked past by them as he went towards the protective glass, Glaring at the slow, Pulsating Crystal that seems to be getting comfortable with fixing temperature in the chamber.

"Uhm- No, Sir. Except we made one breakthrough- Finally- About how the Crystals would keep themselves when the light doesn't illuminates or illuminates little-"
And the Nerd started explaining more while Xander was busy deep-staring at the Crystal...


Pulsating perfectly like a heart... Its glow beaming at him...

It looks so...

Seeking to touch...


"-Sir..? Are you alright?"

'Huh? Oh, Right...'
Xander looked away before brushing his coat.

'Well, I need to go for meet up with other higher Scientists now. You three, Continue stabilising the Crystal. We need it to be equal as possible so I would be able to control it.

And if not when I'm already "Being" of what it would turn me into, then well...
God bless my soul.'

With it, Xander walked away towards the door, leaving the room as the other scientists waved at him as they now continued working on the stability.



Meanwhile, Xander would be walking down the hallway as he passed by multiple test chambers, Cafeterias and rest rooms.

But then... As he was passing by one test chamber that he wanted to check on due of his close Friend's project,

He saw a woman...
Standing behind the glass, Xander glared at her as...

A transfurred being... Possible test subject...

Its a room where other Scientists get to see the current project. The other room had blinds on as Xander was unable to check on his friend due of.. Seeing the woman first...
The woman would be on Carneline form. With her beautiful long hair and rather curvy body.
By that, He was reading an Info-Notice board on the left...

"The Carneline is cat-like in appearance with predominantly purple fur and with extruding red crystal chunks in the upper torso and knee region. Along with red glowing claws and horns, it also has a big, fluffy tail with a bright red glowing pattern at the top."

The Woman had everything of what the info said. Being mere Carneline while no longer a human.
But... She has a black, blue-lined Headphones on...?

She was sitting in the middle of the red, low-dimming room. Surrounded with black goo everywhere.. Including red crystals.

Suddenly, She glared up at him.. Staring with.. Serious.. Pissed off glare...
Like she doesn't even belong to be a subject...

It filled Xander with bits of fear as he blinked...
But yet he blushed due the sight of her beautiful face and body...

She realised it and just.. Blushed back.. Blinking and looking away...
Then smiling back at him.

'S-Sheesh... She's cute..'
Xander whispered as he blushed more.


Seems like the both are knowing each other~...


Hearing the bell that is mandatory for several workers with different jobs, he looked at his watch and realised that his meeting will start soon. Making him wave at her quickly, then began running towards his right side for the Meeting room.



The Woman is now all alone... Sad.. Then anger...
Why did she got forced, just of being a "Play thing" for tests?
Yet, she had other thing in mind.. Looking at her own pink-red glowing pawbs...

"...

He looks hot..~"

(That's all for this one! we'll revert back to reality as this is an interlude for Xander and his GF to meet.

It might include some "Lemon" (Sex, Romantic parts and stuff in Wattpad nickname.) in the future, but that would be a warning for Children to look. Eh?
