cw - blood

also, if you don't know, jiyoo is an original character cause i can't see any of the sebongs in his position even tho this is fiction lol

another note: i decided to make chan a third year in his college as well because he has an early birthday! hopefully it's not confusing, because now boochan can be in the same classes ;)

"Chan, we can literally see you."

At this point, the only people in the restaurant were the remaining six students. Jihoon was still in the kitchen along with some other employees, but that was it.

The boy in question groaned, detaching himself from the corner of the booth and lowering the menu from his face. "So... lovely night, huh?" Junhui scratched the back of his head and Minghao slapped his arm, glaring at him for being so awkward.

"Let's just pretend this never happened," Chan mumbled timidly, already packing his things.

"Can't believe you were eavesdropping on us," Jiyoo rolled his eyes and Chan's blood boiled. "This is the guy you're friends with?"

"God, you can never shut up, can you?" Chan felt his heartbeat increasing from anger. "I don't even know who are, yet you can't stop talking about me. If I didn't know any better, I think you might have a tiny crush on me, Jiyoo."

Chan saw Jiyoo clench his fists and he smirked. He knew exactly what kind of person he was like - the type to think they can get away with anything, never admit their mistakes and blame everyone else around them. It really pissed Chan off.

"What? You're going to hit me? You think that'll get rid of me?" Chan leaned his hand on their table, ignoring the nervous looks on everyone's faces. "I'm there to support my friends, and you must be overestimating yourself thinking that anyone would ogle at someone like you-"

Everything happened so fast. Chan was hit across the face, stumbling back. Jiyoo went for more but Seungkwan shoved him back until he hit the floor. Minghao got up from his seat and put a barrier between him and Jiyoo. It was dead silent, until Jihoon bursted from the kitchen, bewildered more than anything.

"What the fuck." he rushed over, eyes widening once he realizes blood was trailing down Chan's nose. "Holy shit, Chan. I left for ten fucking minutes and this happens?"

Jihoon glared at the boy on the floor. His skin was flushed out of embarrassment. "Did you do this to him?" he asked--no, threatened.

Jiyoo nodded slowly, scrambling to his feet. "Wait. I- I swear! I didn't mean to do that. Seungkwan hyung, please give me another..." he stopped talking once he saw the look he was receiving from everyone.

Five against one. Jiyoo was outnumbered.

"I'm going to have to ask you to leave," Jihoon ordered calmly. "Not only did you violate a rule and assault a customer of mine, but you hit my little brother. I'm holding myself back right now, so be wise and just leave if you still can."

Jiyoo's eyes darted between his teammates, and then back at Chan, who had his head lowered. He sighed in anger, grabbed his bag and stomped towards the entrance in shame. Chan exhaled, feeling lightheaded from the loss of blood.

"Hey," Seungkwan said and everyone looked at him, but he was looking at Jiyoo. "Don't bother coming to practice next week."

Jiyoo dropped his jaw, but he said nothing, and left without another glance.
