Ivory wasn't your typical child growing up from a young age she was obsessed with murders and their stores along with her mother Susan they would both watch documents together and crime shows but Ivory was struggling, her thoughts weren't right she wanted to end it all at the age of 9 years old just because of negative actions towards her. Ivory's mother was always her get away from her thoughts but she was always working while her father Francis always wanted a baby boy but since Ivory wasn't a boy but in fact a girl he disliked her, I already have a girl' he thought showing it among the years through giving her sister grace everything that she wanted from books to toys but when poor Ivory wanted something which she would hardly ask for he would say no. Ivory began to hate her sister she only would come over the weekends but when she did Francis would give her everything. Ivory was a shy but open girl when she started to go to school she would find that she wouldn't have any friends that was girls they were mostly boys she loved school it was like another way to escape from her father, she loved her father but Ivory couldn't get how he didn't love her just because of her gender. Susan started to notice the difference her husband treated Ivory compared to grace, she tried to speak to Francis but he wasn't to happy about it saying "I love them the same, graces mother asked me to give her what she wanted" Susan was never happy about Francis treating his two daughters differently she was worried for the health of Ivory.
