Sequel to my story, 'Day of the Dead', and second book of the Rift Trilogy.

After our pathetic failure with Nyctos and Owen, Keros split the asteroid apart, which flung me to a dwarf planet on the outskirts of the realm. Well, I didn't really land on the planet- my half of the asteroid fell into orbit with it. Around the planet, small clumps of nebulae orbited around the planet and comet. I decided to jump off the comet and fall safely onto the smaller planet and wandered.
Eventually, I came across a small town. People there had blue or white hair, that seemed to float. Their skin was also gray, and had light blue tendrils scattered across it.
"Who's that?" I heard one of them say, not-so-secretly pointing at me. "I don't know. Don't interact with it, though."
After exploring a bit, I saw something that looked like an aircraft. It was made of a blue metal, and had those creepy light blue tendrils across it. I snuck over to it and hopped on, and saw a small crowd of people.
"Realm-Dweller! Leave us alone!" One yelled. "We don't want your evil to currupt us!"
If only they knew I was trying to prevent the evil from spreading to here.. Despite their protests, I figured out how to use it. It was much like a car, except it had controls for flight. It also had a big red button, perfect for pushing. So, I did. Turns out it was a button for Hyperspeed, and I quickly returned to the spot everyone was seperated in.
At the time I arrived, Owen and Nyctos were riding their half of the asteroid. We regrouped on a smaller asteroid.
"Gods, you scared me!" Nyctos yelled at me, 'lecturing' me. "I'm glad you're okay."
"I'm also glad the both of you made it. But there's no time for the greetings- Keros is gone." I said.
"You're right! Nyctos and I just saw him- there!" Owen yelled and frantically pointed at a large asteroid that had a red frame around it. The frame brightened and the asteroid launched towards us, and Nyctos shot a blast of fire to propel us away. Keros was behind the asteroid, and was holding the fragment.
"Well well, here I thought I finally killed you mortals." Keros laughed and the fragment glowed again, and one of the distant realm orbs slowly started getting closer to another.. The Yang Realm was getting closer to the Mortal Realm. The Rift Blade started the merging, but with the final fragment, Keros is finishing it.
"In a few days, the merging will complete. You will fail, and you could say goodbye to your beloved mortal realm." Keros said.
"We will defeat you! You won't win!" Nyctos yelled, which earned us a laugh from Keros.
"You can't do anything now. Once I return, I'll resurrect Cassiopeia. We'll take the revenge on the gods we deserved long ago!" Keros boomed and sent a volley of supercharged lightning bolts at us. They had a red and purple glow, and Nyctos shot fire, just quick enough to get us away.
"I might as well leave you stranded here! Soon enough, the realm will dissolve you into the primordial goop from which everything came!" Keros said and lunged far away, going into the Mortal Orb.
"Nyctos, can you get us to the realm?" I asked. I turned to him and he seemed sick.
"I'll try. Just, if I can't help me, okay?" He responded.
I nodded and we slowly floated towards the Mortal Orb, and we crashed into it. Instead of ending up in any random place, we arrived at the dark, rainy Keros County. And waiting for us, was Keros.
-Xavier's POV-
What I forgot was that Camp Cetus was currently in ruins since Keros' attack. No one was there, as far as I knew.
When I crashed into a lake, Andrea and Riley crashed in an old cabin. I picked up the Axe of Abhor and made a run for it. Luckily, Camp had a few artifacts left at Mount Kilimanjaro, which I quickly ran to. In the vaults, I saw a black crystal I recognized. The Runestone, a crystal that could summon things the words or symbols spelt.
I picked it up and saw that there was a single word left before it could recharge. I couldn't spell Alias' Hammer, since that was two words.. so I spelt 'words', which gave a few extra that I used to spell 'Alias' Hammer'. Soon enough, I was back at Keros County. It was dark and stormy, and I ended up in an alleyway. After I left it, I saw a small red glow in the distance. I walked closer and realized Keros had the Power Fragment- Nyctos, Owen and Jayden were on the building across from Keros.
"Try stopping me with them in the way!" Keros screamed and pointed to a road. The Rift lowered and hundreds of demigods came pouring out, each with armor and weapons. Their skin was colorless, their hair black and all of them had scaly skin. In the front lines, I saw Albus and Jayus.
"Now, leave me be." Keros concluded and inserted the Power Fragment into his staff. Every fragment glowed brightly, and symbols appeared in the middle of each fragment. The fragments themselves dissolved, just barely visible. Then, the symbols shot purple lines in the middle of all of them to form another symbol, this one purple.

The staff started to float, and high above us, 5 stars glowed brightly. The Cassiopeia Constellation, and it shot a huge light beam towards the staff. The white light eventually turned red, then purple, and I saw a huge explosion appear.
From the destruction, Hellfire splattered everywhere, and a figure rose.
