Kakucho POV

Maybe I should call her when I get there. I did, however, save her phone number without her knowledge.

I just broke a promise I made to myself.

I started speeding up, I gulped trying to hold my tears back.

She had dropped something on the chair.

A bracelet? She had to have done it on purpose.

I smiled and slipped the bracelet back into my pocket.

Finally, here we are.

I got out of the car and parked it.

as I was about to walk into the building

I heard a gun shot.

But I wasn't shot.

When I turned around, Sanzu was pointing a gun at me.

"I fucking knew it, you traitor! I despise people like you the most." he yells. I approached him, holding a gun to his head.

Sanzu gives me a joker smile. "Go ahead. I never thought someone like you would be so pathetic and betray Bonten! wait no. Mikey! you're embarrassing!" he tightened his grip on his gun.

"I'm not betraying Mikey; you've done far worse than Mikey has done to y/n. you sliced her face open and gave her a scar like yours! just because you experienced that doesn't mean-"

"SHUT UP! are you excited to meet your king in heaven?"

clenched my teeth and pressed down on the trigger.

"Don't involve Izana in this."

"Oh, don't fuck with me! YOU'RE GOING TO MEET HIM SOON. START GETTING YOUR KNEES AND APOLOGIZE TO ME AND MIKEY, NOT THAT I WON'T KILL YOU EVEN IF YOU DO."

He shoots me in the shoulder while laughing.

"die."

I could feel the bullet striking my chest. My hand couldn't hold the gun any longer, so I dropped it and covered my mouth.

"GUESS WHAT. YOU'LL BE MEETING YOUR MOM, DAD, AND IZANA! ISN'T THAT GREAT NEWS? RIGHTT? KAKU-CHAN."

I couldn't stand up and collapsed to the ground. I coughed up blood, which landed on Sanzu's shoes.

"THATS FUCKING NASTY!" He kicks my face repeatedly with the shoes I coughed blood on.

My heartbeat became weaker, and my vision became darker as I continued to lose blood.

Sanzu smirked and walked away, leaving me on the ground, slowly losing blood. I struggled to get my phone from my pocket so I could call y/n.

I dialed her phone number. It began to ring, but there was no answer, "hurry up..." I coughed up more blood.

I became weaker and weaker.

a few minutes later I called her 3 times. she finally picks up the phone.

"Hello?"

"y/n!"

"Kaku?! how did you get my number?"

I coughed "y/n-"

"Kaku, what happened? where are you? are you okay?"

"Hideout. I'm okay, nothing happened. I'm in my room right now."

I heard that sweet giggle from the phone. Her voice always calmed me down. Y/N herself calms me down.

my eyes were about to shut

"alright! goodbye Kaku!"

I heard her sweet goodbye, that was enough. I can die now. "Goodbye, y/n."

my eyes slowly closed.

I felt my phone getting taken away from my hand, I looked up and saw Koko.

Koko takes my phone "hey y/n."

"Oh Koko!! you're with Kaku right now?"

"Yeah, Kaku's just asleep. He drank too much."

Mikey approaches Koko and spoke to the phone-

"Y/N, be prepared."

"Mikey?"

I heard the call ending.

"well, Kaku. Guess who snitched on you?" Mikey looked down on me.

I open my eyes again and asked

"who..?"

"Koko."

I shivered as I land my eyes on Koko.

Both of them left me lying down a blood bath.

I'm meeting Izana too soon.

Ran slowly walks up to me "Kaku..."

"Ran?"

"Are you really dying?"

"maybe."

"Rest well, I've admired you and Izana alot."

"fuck. you've told me these words when you thought I was gonna die along with Izana."

I coughed out more blood.

"I hope you're alive once I close your eyes, like last time." Ran chuckled and closed my eyes.

"Thanks, goodbye."

"Goodnight, Kaku."
