The Mirror

When I look in a mirror here's what I see,

The evil person that is me,

An angry twisted woman that I know well,

With an anger so deep that I can't quell,

A disturbed person an angry soul,

A blood thirsty savage with a heart like coal.

I'm a dark sinister brute a carnal devil,

I'm a murderous person a fiery rebel.

I look in the mirror and here's what I see,

The angelic person I want to be,

A Good Samaritan wholesome and pure,

A selfless person caring and secure.

A missionary an angel with a heart so great,

A trusting person where you can put your fate.

Now I look in the mirror and here's what I see,

The normal person that is me,

The complete human that tries her best,

That is no more evil than the rest,

Selfish and caring at the same time,

Who has a mountain of demons they must climb,

I can't be an angel that's all so great,

But I am not a demon with a damned fate.

I am who that I am no less no more,

I am true to myself, of that I'm sure.
