harry and you walked out of the karaoke bar/diner feeling awkward.

"everythings... cool right?" harry asked. "i mean, i know the deal was to make you fall in love with me, but you let yourself."

"yeah, but harry, nothing has changed. maybe we made out a little, but nothing is different." you say. you want to act like you didnt enjoy it, but you did. you knew you loved him.

you and harry caught a cab, and you went home. 

the ride was silent. the awkwardness was unbelievable. you felt guilty about what you said to harry, but didnt regret it. you knew you were playing hard-to-get, but you didnt care. your number one rule was; stay away from love. as far back as possible.

harry broke your heart once, and now he wanted a redo? that wasnt how it was supposed to work.

but everyone needs a second chance, right?

"wrong." you thought to yourself. "not everyone deserves a second chance." you thought.

you glanced over at harry, who had his head against the window, with his eyes closed.

you hesitate for a second, then take his hand. 

he opens his eyes and looks at you. "its not comforting, you know."

you shrug, but keep holding his hand.

finally, the driver pulls up to your house, and you pay him, and get out of the car.

you walk up to your house, and harry follows you.

"im sorry harry, but this is where we say goodbye." you say turning around. you walk close to him, and peck him on the lips.

you both go your separate ways, but when you get to your front doorstep, harry calls to you.

"you're invited to sit with me and my friends when school starts back up."

you nod a bit, then enter your house.
