when you get home, you get a call from harry.
"hi, harry."
"y/n. i was hoping you would come with me to the theater this weekend?"
"maybe. i've been spending time with..." you trail off thinking about harry being homophobic.
"spending time with who?"
"oh... what was that mum? i have to go, my mum needs me." you say, lying. you hang up as harry is saying goodbye.
though what happened at the karaoke bar was nice, and somewhat pleasing, you could not date harry. not while having the friends you have, and while him being a bully. you couldn't do it. you simply wouldn't show up to the theater.

the weekend rolled around, and harry called you every day asking about whether or not you were going to go with him, and every time you gave him a new excuse.
"my dog is sick." you would say, and harry would reply, "i hope it feels better, but will you please come with me to the theater?", and you would say, "i need to take care of her." and hang up. simple as that. make up an excuse, and why you had to be the one to solve the problem.
you were sure harry hated you by now, but you didn't care. you had fun spending time with nick and charlie, although sometimes you felt as a third wheel on your adventures.
you and tao, also stayed good friends, as he was always the funniest, but you spent most of your time with imogen, as she was the only one with enough availability.
