you, darcy, and tara got finished with your visit, and then called a cab to go home.
"he almost said it." darcy said, and you and tara looked over at her.
"he almost said the word!" darcy said again, like it was obvious.
"what did he say?" you asked. you were genuinely confused.
"he didnt say it, he almost said it." darcy replied.
"well? what was it?" tara asked, obviously annoyed.
"he almost said the f slur!" darcy said.
you and tara sat back.
"well now, dont get too worked up, he called you fantastic friend." tara said, chuckling.
you smiled. you felt blessed to have such a great group of friends at higgs, but you would prefer truham. you loved tao, charlie, nick, and everyone else. and now harry.

when you finally got back to your house, you, darcy, and tara decided on a sleepover.
"i have nail polish. dark colours only." you say.
darcy smiled. she was the first friend you ever made.
you all plopped down on your bed, and began to talk.
"listen, y/n. i feel like ive said this before, but i truly support you and harry. mainly you, but yes, harry as well." tara said, leaning forward, and putting her hands on your knees.
"thanks, tara." you say, smiling.
tara leans forward and hugs you, and you almost feel like all is right with the world.
