Chapter 9: an old friend

As the cookies of darkness arrived back to the lair, they sat pure vanilla down in a chair and tied him down. It took him a while to wake up "where...am I now?" pure vanilla groaned "silence! We must wait for our master to arrive!" pomegranate said. Pure vanilla was nervous...scared even. The door creaked open...dark enchantress stepped out and walked over slowly "dark enchantress cookie! We have successfully-" licorice exclaimed "shut it..." dark enchantress sighed. Licorice frowned. Dark enchantress walked over to pure vanilla cookie. He was shaking "pure vanilla cookie...it has been quite some time..." dark enchantress said "what do you want with me? What are you gonna do?" pure vanilla mumbled "oh quit with your mumbling and speak up!" dark enchantress ordered "what are you going to do with me, you monster!?" pure vanilla asked. Dark enchantress thought for a moment "I don't really know...I haven't really thought about it yet, but when I do...it's not going to be pleasant" dark enchantress said as she walked out of the room, leaving pure vanilla alone with the cookies of darkness "so what do we do with him?" poison mushroom asked "dunk him in milk!" licorice exclaimed "now, now...we're not the ones doing the torture now...we must wait for dark enchantress cookies next plan..." pomegranate said as she walked out "dark choco...watch him to make sure he doesn't escape..." pomegranate sighed before she left the room. Licorice and poison mushroom followed her out. Dark choco sighed and he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed out of boredom. Pure vanilla wanted to go home. He wanted to see dark cacao again...he wondered if he's even coming to save him...

Pure vanilla felt tears swell up in his eyes. He started crying "oh, quit crying you big baby..." dark choco said "no! I can't!" pure vanilla sobbed. Dark choco rolled his eyes "what? Are you sad because nobody is gonna save you?" dark choco asked "no! he is coming for me! I know he is!" pure vanilla exclaimed "he? Who are you talking about?" dark choco asked "well...uh..." pure vanilla mumbled "your dad! Dark cacao cookie! There! I said it!" pure vanilla exclaimed. Dark choco's face went blank...there's no way..."my...father?" dark choco asked. He dropped his sword "I see..." dark choco sighed. The room was silent for a while until dark choco walked over to pure vanilla and grabbed him by the collar of his sweater. "What kind of relationship do you have with my father?" dark choco asked demandingly "um...I...it's hard to explain! Just don't hurt me!" pure vanilla said. Dark choco let pure vanilla go. "Fine...he's lost in the forest anyways...he'll never find you" dark choco said as he left the room unattended. He didn't give a shit if pomegranate said anything about it. Pure vanilla was just left there...alone, all by himself...crying...

Dark enchantress cookie sat there in her evil throne, thinking about how she could harm pure vanilla cookie. "I still think we should dunk him in milk!" licorice exclaimed "we could cut off his legs so he can't run anywhere!" poison mushroom suggested "you 2 are going too far with this...let master decide what she should do!" pomegranate demanded "I suggest we feed him to the cake hounds...I haven't fed them yet today and red velvet will turn me into crumbs if I don't feed them!" licorice said "silence! All of you!" dark enchantress exclaimed. Everybody went silent and stared at her "I don't know what we should do...all of you just-...go watch over pure vanilla with dark choco...I need time...it may take days!" dark enchantress ordered. Everybody nodded in agreement and left the room. As they all walked down the hall to the room where pure vanilla was in. they could see dark choco walking down the hall towards them "dark choco cookie! What on earthbread are doing out of the room! You're supposed to be watching pure vanilla!" pomegranate yelled as she ran towards him "I was just about to come down to tell you something..." dark choco said "well? Tell us right now!" licorice exclaimed "pure vanilla believes my father is gonna save him...do you guys think that he might actually come?" dark choco asked "of course not! He's lost in the forest, is he not? He will never come!" pomegranate said. Dark choco nodded "now then...let us continue..." pomegranate ordered as she walked down the hallway.

Meanwhile with dark enchantress...she was still thinking about what she could do. "I don't know...I know deep down I'm still white lily cookie...I know he was my best friend..." dark enchantress said to herself "but still...he needs to be crumbs!" dark enchantress exclaimed. She heard a knock on the door "come in..." she said. The door opened slowly. It was red velvet cookie "why red velvet...come in" dark enchantress said. He stepped into the room "mother...I am proud to announce that the cake army is ready!" he saluted "very well...say...could you and your army watch over the gates. Y'know...just in case if pure vanilla tried to escape?" dark enchantress asked "yes ma'am!" he exclaimed "thank you son..." dark enchantress thanked. Red velvet walked out of the room. Dark enchantress sat there. Still thinking...

After an hour of searching, dark cacao cookie finally found the lair they were hiding pure vanilla "now...how do I get in?" dark cacao asked himself. He looked up "it doesn't seem like a tough climb..." he said to himself. Dark cacao started to climb up to the roof. Once he finally made it up to the roof, He noticed it was made out of glass! He breaks the glass and successfully managed to 'sneak' into the lair. He walked down a lot of stairs and walked through the long hallways. Once he passed a room, he heard voices...very familiar voices...it was the cookies of darkness and...pure vanilla? Dark cacao listened closely. They were telling him about all of the awful things they will do to him "all of you quit it! Remember...master is the one doing the torture here okay? Does everybody understand?!" pomegranate said "we will be back later! You stay there!" licorice exclaimed. Dark cacao could hear footsteps. He quickly hid behind a corner. They all stepped out of the room and went to speak with dark enchantress cookie. Once they were out of sight. Dark cacao opened the door to the room, and saw pure vanilla tied in the chair "I thought you guys went to talk to dark enchantress..." pure vanilla sobbed "actually, I came here to rescue you" dark cacao said. Pure vanilla looked up to see him "I KNEW YOU'D COME TO SAVE ME!" pure vanilla exclaimed "shhhh, quiet! You don't want me to get caught now do you?" dark cacao said. Pure vanilla nodded. Dark cacao took the time to untie him. "Thank you!" pure vanilla said as he hugged dark cacao "alright...let's find a way out of here!" dark cacao said.
