Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep-

The first thing one would hear every morning is the constant beeping of your alarm clock, begging you to wake up and get your day started.

You groan as you sit up half asleep. Your eyelids are still heavy as you had just woken up from your slumber. You sit on the edge of your bed for about five minutes so that you could give your eyes and body the chance to fully wake up.

The bright light of the sun creeps through the curtains of your window to give your face a gentle touch of light, making you wake up.

"I guess that's the world telling me to wake up."

You stand up and head towards the kitchen to prepare a quick breakfast. As you walk down to the first floor, a furry friend of yours runs up to you and rubs up to you as a sign of greeting you good morning.

"Hey Kup, good morning to you too."

You get on one knee to give Kup a pat on the head, it looks like she is enjoying it.

Standing up, you finish greeting your cat and arrive at the kitchen, where you proceed to make toast and coffee.

As you stir the coffee, you hear the ding of the toaster, signalling that the toast is freshly toasted and ready to be consumed.

You put everything on a tray and bring your food to the living room where you plan to eat. You look at the clock and read "7:16 am", a whole fourty four more minutes until your first day of school.

Six minutes pass as you finish up eating and put the dishes in the dish washer.

You walk up to the second floor to take a quick shower and freshen up. It takes you about ten minutes to finish taking a bath, brushing your teeth and cleaning your face.

"7:32 am, I still have a few more minutes to dress up and head to school."

Thinking to yourself, you walk towards your room and enter it. An orange-like vest with a short sleeved white polo stares back at you, accompanied with a brown suit and blueish pants to finish the look. You decided to not wear the vest since it was pretty hot outside.

"It's nice and all but its missing something."

You check around the room looking for things that seem out if place, and what do you know, a red tie was hanging on your doorknob. How did that get there?

Anyway, you tie your tie and you look at the mirror. You fold up the sleeves of your coat and leave the buttons unbuttoned, revealing your tie with the white background of your polo.

You wear the watch that your father gave you on your left wrist, a bracelet that your late mother on the right.

"I miss you mom, I've always had."

Sadness fills your heart and memories of your mom overflow in your brain. You decide to not think about it and move forward, that's what your mother would have wanted.

You grab your messenger bag that was filled with your textbooks and head outside.

"See you later Kup! Be a good girl and watch the house for me."

You give Kup a last pat on the head and close the door behind you.

"7:50 am, ten more minutes, I barely have enough time to get to school and meet up with my friends."

This is it, the start of your college life. From now on, your school life will be filled with laughter, sorrow and adventures-

Oh! where are my manners? What kind of narrator doesnt introduce the person who's life we are following.

This young boy here is named Clay Atlas, a 17 year old junior at the school Maple University

A weird name for a university. Apparently, the principal of the school really liked pancakes and maple syrup. Thus, naming the school after their favorite food.

As for me? I dont have a name, I never really even thought about it. Just call me... Nari for now.

It looks like our boy is about to meet up with his friends. Let's see what they have to say shall we?

"Hey Clay!, what took you so long? Even Sayori got here first."

"Good morning to you too Miles, Sayori."

Miles, your faithful childhood pal, always there for you. He's the type of guy who you can ask a favor without anything in return. He's athletic, charming and handsome, everyone likes him for his traits but he chose to hangout with because you didn't really care how popular he is and thought that he was a chill guy.

Miles was of the brownish skin color. His dark black hair complimented his look. He was tall, easiestly the tallest one of the group.

Sayori on the other hand is another childhood friend of yours, you met through Miles and hit it off immediately. She is Clumsy, kind and cheery. Everyone likes to talk to her because she was adorable. She is referred to as the "Cinnamon bun" of the group, and practically, you agree with this.

Sayori had short coral pink hair accompanied with a large pink bow you gifted her for her 17th birthday last year. She was the smallest one of the group.

"Good morning Clay! Geez, you're normally the first one to arrive whenever we meet up somewhere. Did something happen?"

She asks you with a playful tone. You chuckle and give her your response.

"No no, nothing happened. I just took my time you know?"

You check the time on your watch and see that it was 7:54 am.

"How about we start heading to school? I wouldn't want to be late for my first day."

The two nod in agreement and head to school. The start of the semester happened a week ago but you had some things to attend to, making you start attending school a week later.
