On the way to Lissa's dorm, a got a weird feeling.  Like something is going to happen.

Half way through the corridor the sirens were going off signaling that an attack was happening. I got my phone out texting Lissa, Christian, Adrian, and Mia to go down to the bunkers with everyone else. Then I texted Dimitri telling him to meet me by the elementary dorms with my backup silver stake. I already have my main one in my jacket.

When I got to the elementary dorms I saw Dimitri standing there using my stake with his own to protect a group of young Moroi. I went to jumped in to help when Dimitri yelled at me to take the Moroi to the bunkers.

"No, I'm staying here and help you fight off the Strigoi," I yelled back at him.

"No, you are not. You have our little buddy to think of. Please go to safety." He pleaded with me. I gave in and nodded and took the children to safety too.

A least I can tell Lissa what I wanted to tell her this morning.

When I got to the bunkers I saw Lissa pacing the floor. I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. She jumped around scared.

"Don't do that you could have given me a heart attack," she said slapping my arm, "What are you doing here I thought you would be up there with Dimitri fighting?" She asked while hugging me.

I sighed, "well I wanted to be up there fighting but Dimitri had other plans for me."

She gave me a curious look. Then Adrian walked up to me pulling me into a hug. He looked at my aura then platted me on the back while saying, "Well I guess 'cradle-robber' wasn't a cradle robber after all." Lissa gave him a weird look then looked into my aura and squealed.

"Oh my god. I'm going to be a Auntie." She squealed while jumping up and down like a two year old.

"Yup, you are. I also want to be the baby's godmother?" I asked. She squealed again and hugged me . . . again.

"I would be honored. Now we have to go shopping when this is all over. No one how long until the baby comes."

We spent most of the time talking about the baby and how I'm going to need to change a few things in my life now. She talked so much you would think she was the one pregnant. Well I hope she isn't. I still I haven't asked about the phone call before.

"Lissa what was with the phone call before? You sounded happy, nervous, and a little sad. What was it about?" I asked worried that something happened that wasn't.

"Oh that. I was going to tell you that Christian did this, this morning." I was confused until she lifted her left hand to show off the diamond engagement ring that Christian gave her.  This is going to be a busy year with planning a wedding and planning when my baby is going come. Yeah I'm going to be busy.
